just found it at blockbuster, caught my attention.....has Crispen Glover (the father in the back to the future trilogy, and the sword/quiet man in charlies angels) and a multitude of rats.......a funny, tim burton-esque horror about a man with a connection to rats.........remake of willard (1970-ish) and BEN (the leader of the rats).......funny, good direction, decent acting, good special effects, and the DRILL SEARGEANT dude, from mail call and full metal jacket is in the movie too......

I really wanted to see it, and promptly forget about it when it came out. You keep saying that it was funny...how about the horror aspect of it?

no.....no horror at all........itz more of like cult style........itz got some cheesy moments......and fucking Cripen Glover is weird.....he's got a music video on there of him singing about a rat......itz fucking weird.......some bad acting from time to time.....but overall, Crispen Glover fucking was kool as shit in this movie.....i fucking like it a lot.........i wanna watch it, but i don't have it wit me.......

and the scenery and whatnot is really beautiful

i liked the insanity factor, i tend to favor the well played insane people(why i enjoyed house of a thousand corpses)...if you can find it, try deadtime stories, it's an old collection of twisted fairy tales, but the last one about gold lox and the three bhers is amazingly funny, a lot of insanity, and just overall a feel good short film...and if i was crazy, i'd want to be like goldi...

Watching an insane person is fun...but BEING an insane person is even better. I was the Mad Hatter in a stage production of Alice in Wonderland, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. There's nothing like being mad as a hatter...or the Mad Hatter...(HA i'm so PUNNY)

As inaccurate as the portrayal of rats was (I'm a little close to that subject) I enjoyed this film. Crispin Glover is always good entertainment and there are loads of rats, so for me it's money well spent. A very quirky movie and a little brutal in spots.
