Tell me what are some of the movies you were dying to see and then saw and was like what the hell.
I have many movies that I've seen that were like that. I waited for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and couldn't believe I even watched the whole thing. The Blair Witch was horrible and everyone was like that movie was awesome, yeah right. So feel free to tell me your bad experiences with movies even if they weren't hyped up. I'm interested to know what you all consider to be bad movies. Thanks for your time.

Remember when all of those godzilla movie promos came out,then the movie..well..sucked.Other than that i would have to say, blair witch 2.

American Psycho looked cool as shit in the previews, and i hear it was an awesome book, but the end of the movie completely ruined the entire experience.

Bless The Child looked promising, but turned out to be Filmmaking and Scriptwriting Cliche`s 101.

Mission Impossible 2, also disappointing.

Gladiator was touted as one of the greatest films of the year (in fact i think it won a bunch of awards) and while it was good, it was essentially a rip-off of Ben-Hur.

And while it wasn't too terribly hyped in the media, my friends and peers hyped the shit out of Doom Generation back in highschool, and it turned out to be a good few hours of my life that could have been better spent maintaining my cuticles.

That's all i can think of right now.

I've seen Doom Generation and I thought they could have turned that movie into something wonderful, but they did an awful job with it. I think I've fallen asleep everytime I've watched it. Anyways on to some other movies I thought of.

Lost Souls was a cheap rip off of The Exorcist.

The Virgin Suicides was made out to be one of the best movies because it was directed by Sophia Coppola(sp?). Try boring and slow moving. She even won best new director for that movie, huh?

Titanic, I know everyone just loves this movie. Yuck! You don't even need to watch the movie to know what its about. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio make me want to jump off a bridge. 3hrs for a movie that should have taken up no more then an hr of anyone's time.

I'm going to go see Tomb Raider and Fast and the Furious, so I'll tell you how those are too.

hmmm i haven't watch movies in a while ever since the computer has tooken over hehehe. um i thought that clock work orance was boring. i can't believe i sat there through the hole thing. my brother wanted me to watch it so i did. lets see i need 2 more. i don't think that one with adam sandler is going to be good little nikki. but hten again i haven't seen it. i can't remember the other we saw but it sucked. when i remember it i'll post it again. but till then talk to you soon. buy my love *hugs and kisses*

I would have to agree hun A Clock Work Orange sucked. All my friends said how interesting and insightful this movie was and I watched it and couldn't figure out what they were talking about. I think they must have watched the movie stoned because I think that's the only way it would be interesting, but I doubt it.

Little Nicky wasn't Adam Sandler's best movie but it was 100 times better then the Waterboy. I found some of Little Nicky pretty funny and the story line wasn't too bad either.

Hope you think it is somewhat funny hun. If it's not don't kill me. LOL. You should also rent the movie Instinct with Cuba Gooding Jr and Anthony Hopkins it is one of my favorite movies of all times. Story line is great, acting is superb, and it will make you cry.

TOMB RAIDER SUCKED ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they made it look like it was going to be the coolst movie ever, but noooooo. it was slow, hardly any action, and the action that was in it they showed in the pre-views. i must say iw as VERY disappointed, and i almost fell asleep 3 times

star wars episode 1 was overly hyped up. it was a great movie, but with the hype i was expecting to get knocked out of my seat.

Thank you Bam I totally agree with you on Unbreakable. That movie turned out to be one of Bruce Willis's worst movies ever. I was hoping for a better story line but I never recieved that. I just watched Dracula 2000 what a waste of time. I do not recommend this movie to anyone. Stay away it does not do justice to horror movies. Although I do like the ending very much but that's because they use something I never would have expected. I also saw the Wedding Planner, yes, I know what did I expect. Two thumbs down for that movie also. This world would could do without another cliche love story.

Paying $5 to see people who want to make you jump off a bridge is really a waste of money. On the other hand, I would pay $5 to see Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet jump off a bridge.

As far as disappointing movies go, I'd say Dracula 2000. It was an okay movie, but the previews made it look 10 times better than it really was.

Go rent Fight Club and Idle Hands!

I hate to admit it, but I've seen Fight Club and Idle Hands. I'd like to forget, but thanks for reminding me. lol. Idle Hands had a good story line just didn't do anything productive with it. Fight Club was hyped up to be one of the best movies and I thought it was anything but that. I was very disappointed to find out that this guy was just a nut case. I rented Dogma tonight, I heard it was a fantastic movie from one of my friends so I'll let you all know what I thought. I think I'll probably like it because I loved Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Mallrats.

Thank you for completely shooting down my opinion! I have horrible taste in movies actually. I thought Idle Hands was cool, but in a weird way that just sort of fits me. I don't know many people who liked it. Fight Club.. I didn't pay attention to when it was hyped-up. I just rented it like, this weekend, and I thought it was a damn good movie. Dogma, I also liked. it is a good idea to watch it twice. i love that movie. i am a proud owner of a ltd edition copy.
i cannot understand why you do not like it.
the hype was there because of kubricks's banning.
and the fact you had to go to a travel agent to get tickets to a showing in the seventies.
my father saw it when it was first screened. when i watched it i agreed with him. on a big screen it has more effect on you.
