i'm going to see it tonight. a LOT is riding on this, my geekiness, many peoples childhoods, and michael bay's credibility. hell, even HE knows what this means for him. he's awaiting the reaction before he signs on for the 2 sequels.

that's right, damn thing hasn't even come out yet and the sequels, plural, have been greenlit.

i'm going to try and watch this objectively and with a clear mind.

actually, lots of theaters are having 8pm and 11:10 showings. only one has an actual midnight showing, and another is actually having showings every half hour starting at 8! yay philly!

I AM DEFINATELY SEEING THIS MOVIE.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited. But like I said, I don't like to be touched. So I'll have to wait to go see it til the crowds die down a bit.

I want to see it, but frankly I don't see what the big deal is.

well, all i wanted to see was robots from my childhood fucking each other up and i was not disappointed. more than satisfied.

I know how you feel, Billy, that is why I went to the afternoon matinee. Only me and 6 other people. As for the movie, it was a lot better that what I thought it would be, and I cannot wait for the second one to come out. The Unicron War. Without revealing too much, they have set it up perfectly with the ending. Oh and thus far my favorite line out of the movie is "This human's pheremones indicate he would like to mate with the female"

I think I will get that for my nephew, it will occupy his ass for a while, and keep him out of my hair

The only problem i see is how unicron is going to rebuild megatron.

I don't know how to post my theory how Unicron rebuilds Megatron without givin away what happens to Megatron, other than I think it will largely have to do with what happened with the allspark, and that enabling Unicron to get to Megatron

Based on this one they will make a second. Excellent movie. Big fucking robots beating the snot out of each other was all I wanted to see and I was not let down

Being a fan of the original series, i'm hoping this movie doesn't let me down, but in all reality i can't see it doing the original justice

It surprisingly does, I mean its not a perfect representation, thanks in part to VW, and Michael Bay, but it is worthy as live version of the G1 transformers series.

I loathed this movie. I would have walked out if I had been the one who drove. It had the best CGI effects I've ever seen, but I absolutely fucking hated the movie. It was nearly plotless, the actors were rotten, and the entire experience was pointless. Top that off with the fact that the movie was easily an hour too long, and you have one ass-scratcher of a summer blockbuster, in my correct opinion. If you want to see it, wait for DVD and then have someone edit out all the parts that don't have robots fighting or Bernie Mac talking (Bernie kicked ass).

My friend loved it, but his favorite movie of all time is Caddy Shack so he fails at taste.

Well. The guy was a pussy high-schooler. I liked it. But like I said I went into it expecting big bad ass robots duking it out and that is what I got
