I just got finished watching this....not bad...not bad at all. Some people may object to the use of CGI in horror films but I think it works with this movie. There are some movies that just over-do it with the CGI....*cough*Mummy Returns*cough*.

My fave ghost has to be the Naked Suicide Girl and The Jackal. The only complaint I have is Matthew Lillard....he was just fucking annoying.

i actually just watched that last night and was going to start a thread about it. i thought it was a pretty cool flick and the thing that i loved was the art direction. the house, the ghosts and the mechanisms were all done very well. the only thing i didn't like was the casting, it was like they blew all their money on getting shannon elizabeth in it that they couldn't afford better actors. the cg was awesome and i'd have to agree, the suicide girl was one of the coolest ghosts.

I loved the house

I loved this movie, but the actors sucked. The house was gorgeous and when the writing glowed I was wowed. My favorite ghosts were the Jugernut and the Jackal. I had nightmares after I saw this movie involving those two ghosts. I think I'm in the mood to watch this movie tonight. Thanks guys, you just planned my night for me (well part of it).

I just finished watching it, I loved it.

The Angry Princess got me more aroused than scared, personally..

I'd have to agree about The Juggernaut and The Jackal. Juggernaut at the beginning didn't really catch my interest, but his "personality" at the end was morbidly fascinating.. just how he was walking toward the psych(o)ic guy as he knelt paralyzed in fear, then bent him in half (*crack*). THAT WAS AWESOME, horror movies just HAVE to have awesome kill scenes, and I was not disappointed.

My only complaint is how it was strangely familiar to House On Haunted Hill.. (I WONDER WHY, eh heh). The "fake death" thing just kinda seemed corny after seeing it a couple years ago on House On Haunted Hill.

sat down, hated it, boyfriend liked it, after half an hour I decided it was comedy genius, boyfriend decided it was home video suited, then he decided that he hated it. I thought the cliched characters were hilarious and the death scenes all involving panes of glass were so funny.


A gormless pretty teenager in a tight t shirt, a little cute kid with a lisp, a mad scientist, really this film had it all, plus the huge baby and tiny old woman ghosts- hahaha

plus yeah it did make me jump.
