Who has seen "shock treatment", i happened to catch a little of it the other day, and 30 minutes into it, i was still trying to figure out what it was about...but i liked it..hmm..it seems to follow in the tracks of the rocky horror picture show, and it also stars the characters "brad" and "janet". Some of the other characters also resemble the ones from R.H.P.S, like columbia,riff raff, etc...
It was odd...which is always a + in my book.

Also, has anyone heard anything from rob zombie's flick, house of 1000 corpses?..sheesh,last i heard he was still looking for a company to take it, after it was dropped.

Ahh, good old cult classics. You might want to check "Frankenhooker" or "Doom Generation" those were great at the time. Odd, bent and with slightly twisted humor. Too bad titles like these sont come out very often these days. For a recent movie, you can also try renting "Liquid Sky", very odd little movie, that had critics raving over couple of years ago.

dude, i rented liquid sky, it was fucking crazy...I was laughing my ass off throughout the movie. There was this girl that kept playing as a guy..fucking priceless..ahh well..it was pretty good though. I have heard of frankenhooker, but can't really find it anywhere...i saw the movie poster though..

I just bought "The Toxic Avenger part2"unrated directors cut on dvd...it had everything a person can ask for in a cult film. Senseless violence, bad humor, men in drag shotting guns, and a midget compacted into a basketball...

I was bored,(whats new) so I rented these flick's the other night.
I thought return of the killer tomatoes kicked ass! there was senseless advertising of PEPSI, and a girly who turned into a tomato herself. I havent really seen it since i was ten, so i saw it in the "CULT" section, and had to rent it for nastalgic purposes.
Phantom of the paradise ruled as always, i strongly recommend this movie. Great actor's, great plot,costumes...a brillant outlook on human behavior, love, and betrayl. I'm might be a dumbass, but i thought the power rangers movie was pretty good. It had a nice budget to clean up some of the crap that the tv show tried to get through.

oooo, Shock Treatment. . . it IS a followup to RHPS, but not nearly as good as the first, i think Richard O'Brien went completely daff on this one. music was still okay, *Bitchin in the Kitchin*

Yeah, thought the songs were alright.. a little too "mary poppins meets weird cult film"...but they were still good.

yeah I was gonna say that too shock treatment follows what happened to brad & Janet as well as Ralph & Betty. & the reason some characters resembled those of rocky horror is because They are from Rocky Horror (Richard O'Brien, Patricia Quinn, Little Nell)
I would NEVER EVER say anything bad about Richard O'Briens work but of course Rocky Horror was better but I mean what do you expect its impossible to even come close to such greatness. Shock Treatment was good but nothing compared to Rocky Horror. I love the songs too "you need a bit of ooooooo shock Treatment, get ya jumpin like a real live wire!"

I heard that they aren't even going to release it because it is to graphic for any movie company to take. I guess there is no way to get the rating to R without cutting half the movie. I would die to see House Of A 1000 Corpses. I bet it's one of the best horror movies too. Sucks big companies are too afraid to release a movie that might actually be good.

My favorite line of scary movies would be the Evil Dead series. They are hilarious.

From the cheesy Hanna-Barberra sound effects, to the fact that not only was Peter's voice dubbed by another actor and Ace's stunt double was black, this one's got it all, and it ain't pretty. (Trust me: I'm KISSarmy, and even I thought it was hoakey!)

lol..that sounds like fun...I have seen a couple of scenes from that movie...I saw a little of it, and it had gene simmons growling like a animal or some sort of beast..lol..and all the members had super power's..sorta like, kiss meets power rangers.
