I loved it. It was very cool. I saw the show and then I watched the movie. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I just wanted people to know that it was awesome

I went and bought the whole Firefly series on DVD, so I could get ready to go see the movie. I didn't catch all the episodes the first time around, and the DVD has never-aired shows.

I'm going to see the movie tonight. <3

Damm I loved that show and have had the DVD's for years, it sucked they only made the one series. I'm hoping that the movie does well and maybe they will pick it up for another series...

Fox network is dumb for killing it off.

I so want to see this movie... I'll probably have to wait for dvd.

I just saw it. It was fucking AWESOME. I was extremely upset when they cancelled the show. I feel much better now.

saw it todaty (sunday) and enjoyed it quite a bit... the two issues (the last scene at Haven and the bridge scene with the harpoon) surprised me... i expected other outcomes not involving those two issues.

ah well... still pretty fun... a little rough, but a great effort on all their parts.



sad to say though, the theater was pretty empty.

is it still possible to enjoy and be involved with this without having seen the series? i saw some tv spots earlier and looks like fun, but i'd hate to go in and be totally out of the loop with characters arcs and general plotlines.

i think so... though there will be many references that you'd have to watch the series and read the comic to get.

There is a good intro to all the characters. I'd still advise watching it after watching the series. rent the dvds

if you don't you'll still enjoy the movie.. but not as much imo

i think they're doing some daily marathons on sci-fi, i might try and catch up if i can.

There's not that many episodes. Only... 14 I believe. And some were never aired on television. Awesome series, though.

They were aired in the wrong order too. The first episode was aired as the 14th episode.

Woah. Really? The 14th episode was the one where the bounty hunter boards the ship and tries to steal River, right? And he takes all the crew prisoner?

And the first episode was the one where Book, Simon, River, and the Alliance guy board the ship.

How would it make sense to air the first as the 14th? I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!!!11111111111111111

oh.. and Fox has a TEN YEAR CONTRACT with them. meaning that no new episodes can be broadcast ANYWHERE but on fox.
