I want to see DBGT so I can judge whether or not I like it... and with the supposedly up and coming new series based on the DB world... god knows what's going to happen (Nappa and Raditz SSJ4, supposedly).

Being a weird person with no, and I mean NO, life, I spent a large portion of my online time fighting people in chats.
4 years running now, though I'm not doing it all that often since 1) I type too fast and accurately for most people, and 2) People can't fucking type at all who do it, usually.
Plus it is kind of stupid to do it.
That helped me get pushed toward DBZ, however, since it dealt with fighting all the time, and so I studied the way that they would fight in it.
But, really, the means by which I gained adoration toward it was when it first appeared in the US, way back... god.. 10 years ago? I watched it and loved it like the small weird child I was.
Now I kind of like the comedy in it, such as with Buu, and I just want something to watch other then the norm.

thats just it... for the majority of americans, DBZ and Pokemon ARE the norm... plasticine, transparent, and lacking of depth... all they do is fight and make jokes, fight and make jokes... theres no insight, no feeling, no anything that isnt fight/joke/fight

Buu makes it all worthwhile.. anywho
DBZ's main fault is the fact that the story really isn't very deep.. it's just a flimsy reason for the guys to beat on each other. The characters tend to be annoying (Not buu, he rules), as well as a tad strange.
I've tried my hand at roleplaying out a DBZ Storyline, sadly people just wanted to beat on each other, and so the roleplaying portion of it degraded into nothing but fights, which, of course, meant I let the damn thing die in two seconds.

bleh...I'm a fan of dbz. Considering I'm usually here at that time, worn out, and there's really nothing else worth watching except for cartoons, I've grown quite fond of the little monkey people...and shit, I even watch the episodes at night.
I've got a question for John, though....What the hell is the "Cooler" saga about? He looks a lot like Freeza, just amped up.
