yeah, the one starring mark walhberg and jennifer anniston. i rented it last night and watched it all the way through... grudgingly. right from the get go i hated walhberg's character and wanted him to die early as part of the plot, unfortunately it doesn't happen. he's basically the lead singer for a cockrock cover band and ultimately finds himself being thrown into rock-stardom via the only way hollywood knows how... through unbelievably. the only good things about this flick are jennifer aniston's performance, which isn't bad at all and the various breast shots throughout the movie (unfortunately none of which are of aniston). i'd say that if you've been stuck in a refugee camp for the last 8-10 years and have no idea of how good a movie can be, then by all means see this flick. you'll be the only one who wasn't disappointed.

i agree, but what'd you like better about it, the cliché ending or the lack of feeling for any of the characters?

Well, truthfully... I can't remember. When I saw it, it just came out at the theatre. Anyways, I'll just have to watch it again.
