This has enormous potential...my panties get creamy just anticipating what they could do with this...how great it could be.

I was a Resident Evil junky on the sony playstation and it scared me so bad I couldn't finish playing the game. I hope the movie is that good.

i wouldve rather seen a Silent Hill movie... but based on the previews, RE:TM looks fairly decent... of course, many lemons have had great trailers...

well....it was made by the same guy who directed the first MORTAL KOMBAT film, and the movie EVENT HORIZON. take that knowledge as you will. me. i dont hold out much hope.

event horizon was actually fairly interesting... and mortal combat was a decent movie for the story they had to work with...

Looks like a fairly decent movie. I'm hoping its good cuz lately there has been a shortage of good films released (in my opinion at least). Another reason I will see this is because of Milla Jovoich (sp?). Wow... :p

its resident evil was an indepedant movie it would be full of blood and guts and gore just like the game, but too bad it wont be

i saw this today and was very impressed... Anderson took a good concept and built upon it till it was near perfect. the paranoia, the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you're SURE something's going to happen (um, also paranoia i guess), even a little tasteful nudity.

conspiracy theory (whos the traitor, bitch?), the Hulk homage, the sheer size of raccoon city (wow, new york anyone?), wheels within wheels, whos that behind you? great soundtrack (nice and moody, metally when it needs it). flashbacks fit with the flow.

and most importantly, is perfectly consistent with the games DESPITE having a seperate cast ("Send in a team, We're reopening the Hive")


i recommend that you see this movie. Support gamer cinema. Support action flicks. Support great movies and in general. all three fit here.

I saw it today , Saturday...and I was impress I guess. This move was really entertaining and fun. It was better than what I expected, wow finally a video-game turned move that doesn't suck!!!! How awesome it that?
Well I don't play the Resident Evil Games, so I don't know much about the Storyline rather than just the basics of the first part... People turned into flesh eating zombies, Heroes go there and shot them up.....

I would recommend this movie, you won't be disappointment. It's a really good action suspencefull movie.

Just don't expect too much, don't expect to be moved or get a new way of thinking on life....This is after all a fun entertaining action movie....But it is not just mindless fun either
