Ok so it has almost been a week since Cartoon Network premeired the new He-Man cartoon ...... any takes on it, has anyone else seen it...
personally after growing up with the original cartoon i was a little worried that it would be like a remake with diffrent soty line and characters but i was surprised that it was just as good if not better...
as for the art work.. the detail to the characters like trapjaw and mechaneck jsut to start off is very well done and for the background and scenery it is just beautiful ...
the only real disappointment was in the voice for skeletor which made him sound rather whiney and the characterization of he-man they made him out to be like a good samaritain with super strength.....
so anyone else that grew up with it and feel it was good or an injustice....

errantrogue, its a cartoon, theres no need for it to be believable.
As for the new He-Man, I wasn't that disappointed by it, but you are right about Skeletor's voice, he sounds like a little bitch now. its nowhere near as good as I remember the old one being, but of course thats what I grew up with.

oh come on... the CONAN cartoon was better and believable... and YES i said BELIEVABLE... BELIEVABLE in the sense that the show is told in such a way that the lines of reality blur and become unnoticed... shows like Rugrats, Zim, Futurama, Simpsons, Gargolyes... shows that dont make you ache over bad acting, poor plot, or cheesy effects...
