I would enjoy seeing the Dragonlance Chronicles done and anything done by Neil Gaiman but he would have to be directly invovled, None of that "based on a novel by" bullshit.

Neil Gaiman has submitted a script for a major motion picture ("because nothing is ever a minor motion picture") that's based off of Death: The High Cost of Living.

I remember a friend of mine telling me that over the phone... I think my reaction was something like:

"OH MY GOD!!! THAT IS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!"

a Sandman movie is slated for pre-pro in the next couple of years...

death got the nod because her stories are pretty much stand alones whereas the Sandman chronicles are either 3 or 4 TPB spanning story arcs, or one CB vignettes...

that and the recent trend in hollywood for strong and (get this) deep female leads... dont get me wrong, i like this trend... i just whish it wasnt an actual "Trend" as opposed to common practice...
