Black Circle Boys, for its sociological implications of small groups.
Quills, for its sociological implications of the majority's misunderstandings of things different from them.
From Hell, for its sociological implications of a small covert groups self dillusion in response to the majority.
Basically movies that point out some of the sickest traits of humans in their interaction with their own species somewhat disturb me. Attack one of the underground... Proud supporter of banning NMaries.
...attack them all. | |

[color=teal]hmm....well, it's basically a documentary on the lowest, trashiest american class...forgot where exactly(not to say, that the trashiest americans live only there).....lots of obvious inbreeding...I just find it amusing to watch and imagine that these people in these situations are actually as happy as their roles in the movie..
now, I'm not being prejudice to the lower class american, mind you, ...I happen to be one myself......but, to watch these people ruin themselves in this way, to keep a grin on their faces as they sell freshly killed cats to their local chinese restuarant, or to bathe in a rusted tub filled with septic looking water, while eating chocolate bars the black child outside sold them for what they confessed was a worthy cause, when in actuality, they were training themselves to be future pimps...now, that's just disturbing...

Happiness was the weirdest damn movie I've seen. I couldn't believe that kids dad and his nasty obsessession with little boys. Happiness gets my vote for most disturbing pyschologically.

I think Man Bites Dog was the most disturbing I ever saw.
It was quite funny up until the rape scene, it just sickened me.
I'd taped it off the t.v. and after watching it I taped over it straight away, I coudn't stand it still being there.

Deliverance had to be the most disturbing flick I've seen yet. I hate that movie. It had to be the "squeal like a pig" rape scene that had me watching my asshole for three days straight. Wanna be discusted? See Deliverance.

Hoho!! That was a sick movie!! I thought that was hilarious... I mean, not when I saw it for the first time, but when I figured out I could use it to make fun of all the redneck ass-fucking Ford truck drivers at my High School..... Well, I found it to be a more humorous movie.
How about "American History X"? I don't remember much of anything from that movie, but I DO remember ONE part that made my face hurt for like a fuckin' month! Remember that part where Edward Norton made that fucker bite the curb and kicked him in the back of the head? UUUGH! I felt like puking! Anyways...

CONFESSIONS OF A SERIAL KILLER!!!!
So disturbing I had to use all caps! If this is any indication, here is a line from it:
"Moon busted her neck and we both did her a few times before dumping her in the weeds..."
or something to that nature.
Also "Hustler White"
a friend and i saw this by accident in D.C. -were told it was a dark comedy...turned out to be an S&M-serial killer-male prostetute-softcore porn flick. and it was playing at a Loews Theater!

there is this japanese movie called "naked blood" aka splatter, and that was the most fucked up thing i have ever seen.
it was about this boy whose mother was a scientist, as was he, and his mother had these 3 women as test subjects for something or other, and he was making this syrum that increased the production of epidurum in the brain (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's the chemical your brain secreats whenever you feel pain and it dulls it a little) so what his syrum did was the more pain you got, the more epidurum was released, basically instead of pain they felt pleasure. so to test his syrum called "my son", he switched whatever his mother was giving the girls with his chemical and monitored them. it took effect for two of the women and that was freaky shit. one of them always had to look beautiful and she ended up cutting herself and sticking knives and shit threw her skin cause it felt good. the next women was the most fucked up, she was a cook and while she was cooking she burned her hand and then deep fried it in oil while it had batter on it then ATE HER FINGERS, she even ate one of her nipples and and some parts of her groin and...just thinking about it is screwing me up. *shudders*
i could stand all of the movie but that scene, it just blew out my senses. not only is that scene stuck in my head, so is the "squel like a piggy" thing from deliverance. 好きなものは好きだからしょうがない!! So, fuck it. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. or To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Two movies... and both get my highest recommendation.
Ravenous (aka Ravenous Face, but for obvious reasons I prefer the first...). A truly twisted little movie about a U.S. army fort high up in the mountains of California immedately following the war with Mexico, and the visitor with a terrible story to tell... Inspired in part by the Donner Party and in part by the Native American Wendigo myth. Not especially gory, but has several scenes of implied cannibalism, along with the occasional scene of graphic cannibalism. Comes down to a truly sickening "eat or be eaten" situation.
Battle Royale. Now this is one of a kind. Basically, around the turn of the milennium the Japanese government drafts a law to show just how far they're willing to go to curbb a rising tide of youth criminality, perceived disrespect and general disobedience. Their solution: the Battle Royal Survival Programme. Every year a randomly chosen ninth-grade class is taken to a deserted island, issued with weapons, and told that the last survivor gets to go home again. It sounds like a cheap, ultra-speculative action flick, but it is amazingly well thought out and has the finest set of young actors I've ever seen. The fact that most of them really are 15 or 16, just like the characters they're supposed to portray, just makes it all the more chilling. i saw a movie a while ago called NEKROMATIC. that movie was pretty...ummm...heh....yeah..... "The great thing about being ignored is that you can speak the truth with impunity."

After thinking things through a bit, I agree - none of the acts in the movie are horribly disturbing in a visceral sense(at least not compared to some of the scenes mentioned in this thread... ). The concept, however, really gets to you once you start to think about it... (this sort of applies to Ravenous, too, come to think about it).
Yeah, we agree...
I always found the ending to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (you know, where they have caught the girl and prepare to kill her) to be deeply disturbing... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
