this movie has so much potential, but i thought lost it all at the end. kevin spacey is excellent in this movie and plays a guy who claims to be an alien from the planet k-pax. he gets thrown into a mental institution where a doctor takes a special interest in his story. the movie develops really well and then in the final scenes just drops out like they rushed it or couldn't figure out how to do it. did anyone else see it? what did you think? trailer

It was a good movie, and you're right, they could have gone so many ways with it. I thought that he was crazy the whole way through, until the end when the girl disappeared.

Eh, it wasn't all that great. Same until when the doctor was pushing the wheelchair; longer monologue, different final scenes, though nothing special.

Oh that's pretty lame. I thought maybe it would be something totally different. Lots of movies have different endings because no one could decide how to end it. Like Casablanca for example. I believe that movie has 4 or 5 different endings. Anyway (now that I've babbled for no reason  ), that's pretty disapointing about kpax.

I recenlty watched k-pax on friday night. unfournutatly the suspence is killing me because i never got to see the end. I thought it was a very uplifting suspence drama.
I'm going to have to re-rent it so see the end. Damn it!

I know this is the movies section, but has anybody read the book for this movie? I really enjoyed it.
Although, I haven't seen the movie. Should I see it, or would I be disappointed?
