i love this film. i can't believe i'm only catching onto it now. it's so beautifully shot, the music is emotionally epic and there is actually an interesting and unpredictable story-line (well, unpredictable to a point, it is hollywood afterall). i don't even mind that scarlett johansson has only about 20 lines and spends most of the film running around looking pretty and panicked. it works.

That's the one with the clones and Ewan Mcgregor? Yeah, I didn't mind it at all. I didn't find it emotionally wrenching or a masterpiece, but I liked it.

I think I can sum it up with this sentance -

"It was okay."

maybe so, but i've noticed before that you and i have very different tastes. depends on what you are looking for i guess. i don't enjoy very many movies and almost no televison anymore. i found the experience of watching this film the visual equivalent of going to see a really tight live band. i appreciate the expertise.

A lot of people really don't like it but I think it is a really good movie. It held my attention for the whole thing and I have watched it more than once so that has to count for something.
