anyone seen it?......ok, sumone on DF had a picture of the movie, which caught my interest, so i went to best buy and bought the millenium edition (oooh!) for $20, then came home and watched it with a roomie and a chick friend.....anyway, if you've seen it, you might be thinking "you watched it wit a chick?".......anyway, the movie wasn't that bad, pretty fucking violent and controversial (worst rape scenes ever)......the movie was rather shocking and gut wrenching to watch, but the ending kind of lacked the "crowning-achievement" i expected......and the sound quality was a little on the mediocre side.....anyway, not a bad movie....worth checking out if your a "shock-enthusiast"........worth having in your b-horror, underground, disturbing movie collection....though wait until its priced at about $10.......

Its ok. I bought it not knowing anything about it, and I just read the back cover. Pretty good death scenes. Nothing too special though.

i dunno man......i consider myself as having a rather morbid and disturbing imagination for artistic sake, but watching a rape scene, especially one as brutal as this, it still makes me uncomfortable.....especially if a chick is in the room.....oh, and watch it with the commentary by Joe Bob, its interesting

Yeah after you have mentioned the rape sceen. It's kind of making me think a little bit more. All I have to remember is that it's a movie and these people are acting out the rape sceen. I might give it a try. Then i'll come back with the results.

OK, yeah, the rape scene is rather, how do I say EXTREME, but her vengence fully makes up for it. Just the bathtub scene alone made me never want to piss a girl off EVER!. It was just as bad as the scene in Last House on the Left with the mom biting his shit off by the lake.

Yeah, its Wes Craven's first movie. Some killers kidnap 2 girls, rape and kill'em, they end up at a house that happens to be one of the girls' parents' house, parents go medieval on their asses. Yeah, I recommend it. Look for the dvd with all the cut out footage and commentary by Wes.

actually i wasn't too impressed with last house on the left...i liked the story, but the film itself...didn't do anything for me...

It WAS Craven's second film. His first was a cheesy documentary thing. Anyhow, Last House on the Left also had Sean Cunningham and Steve Miner attached. You might know them for joining up with Victor Miller and creating the Friday the 13th film franchise.

Back to the topic, I also own a copy of I Spit on Your Grave. It's a nasty little movie that beats out the competition by far, in my opinion. Check it out. The best aspect, and most chilling asset for the film, is its lack of musical score. Seems to make the flick all the more realistic.

It's not a comfy film, but it definitely disturbs.

yeah, i know what you're saying.....whatz the one thing you think you would notice in a movie, no music? right?......i didn't until i watched the commentary and joe bob briggs said there wasn't any.....i was like, whoa.....
