ok, so i went to um, hollywood video today, and they had a $5.99 DVD bin.....well, i just had to check it out!!!!! so, here's what i got

Prey For Rock N' Roll -- i remember actually wanting to see this movie, so i snagged it....it has Gina Gershon (who, i don't particularly care for, but ain't against) and some other peeps too....but itz about an all chick punk band, and i gotta say, the music wasn't that bad (kinda L7 style....there's a lyrical reference too!!!!) and the plot wasn't all that bad either, and it had itz comical moments....good buy!!!!!

i also bought a movie called Maniacts which is bound to be the worse of the movies i bought....some cheezy (b-rate?) gorey (hopefully) flick about 2 serial killers who fall in love in an insane asylum....i picked it because i'm a fan of cheesy movies from time to time....and if itz too cheesy, i just take it back....have yet to watch it

The Last Minute -- (from the director of Blade...whooo!!!) i must admit that i picked this one because the cover looked kinda kool.....but um, it sounds kinda interesting.....some reviews said itz a mix between Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, and Fight Club......said itz a "true cult classic".....so, we'll see....have yet to watch it

and last, i bought Sonny -- directed by Nicholas Cage himself....which is practically the sole reason this film caught my attention....i like Cage....but the movie sounds kinda interesting....about a man who comes home after being in prison, and his mom runs a prostitution ring and makes him sell himself to female clients.....could be good....could be awful, i'll see.......

so, yeah, i waste money....so be it....i think i might watch that "Last Minute" movie....or maybe "Maniacts".......i dunno, but i shall return

ok, so i just watched MANIACTS....um, weird movie....first off, it isn't a horror, nor gorey.....there's some blood, but thatz about it....in all honesty, i think it'd be a comedy, maybe drama....itz just about 2 insane people falling in love, then escaping, and trying to live as farmers......it was funny, somewhat witty, decent acting.......but, towards the end, it started to get really fuckin' far-fetched and loses the main principle purpose of the movie as a whole....but, it was worth watching.....kinda kool

At wal mart,the best ones I found were "The Punisher" dolph Lundren version, and the Batman movie. (Adam west,burt ward)

dolph lundren "punisher" is so horrible....not to say the new one is any good.....but still, dolph lundren could gag a maggot

yeah,speaking of dolph.I liked Masters of the universe,but with the technology now,they really should remake it.

speaking of the "dollar bin", I got a bad ass dvd called "Duel To The Death", kick ass shit I have to say.

alrighty, i just watched "The Last Minute" and to sum it up, itz a weird fuckin' movie....it jumps very fast, and has some interesting camera work, and the plot was kinda like WTF?!....but, all in all, itz nothing that hasn't been done before.....itz more or less like taking a shit ton of great, mind blowing films, and wrapping it all up in this one.........but, it was still kool.....itz about like this guy, becomes a famous artist, then lives the life, then fails horribly with his next work (a piece of his own feces with a british-flag stickin' out of it) and as a result, loses everything, then turns to a life of pick-pocketing with a gang of kids, whereby he becomes addicted to heroine, only to survive a blood-bath, only to think he can redeem himself....and then, the end....somewhere thereabouts....

the movie wasn't without itz highlights though....like, during the blood-bath, this dude bashes in this other guys head with a sledge-hammer, then busts out with "When a man loves a woman" and his goons sing back-up.....purdy funny

but um, overall, this is an interesting film, albeit not all that original or unique....but was definately worth $5.99

I didn't like Sonny. It SUCKED ..And by the way, I'm rather fond of Nicholas Cage too

hmmm....eeeek!!!! i haven't watched it yet, but i will hopefully tonite......i figure if any suck, i'ma just take 'em back and trade 'em for something else......

think i'ma take back "Maniacts"....that movie was so good the first half, but the end just got so fuckin' stupid

watch this fuckin' movie....i watched it for a second time, and it amazed me yet again.....the first time, the entire movie had me like "oooh, awe, what the hell?".....second time round, "hmmm, awe....ooooooooohhhhhhhh!"

i dunno, itz one of those movies that works on multiple levels......i suggest those who appreciate camera work, suttle comedies, twisted plots, and over all philosophy of a movie....watch this fuckin' move
