because www.dvdplanet.com is running a 50% off sale on all their anime... i just laid down $113 bucks for the rest of GITS:SAC and Wolf's Rain... as well as a few individual discs...

shit, if i had know about this the other day, i wouldn't have ordered Genshiken #2 from Alliance... i would've save 10 bucks...

that being said, Genshiken #2 should be arriving today... 2 day express for free is better than mediamail for free, no? i can't wait to see the next episode of Kujibiki Unbalance... it's so absurd while conforming to so many arche/stereotypes of anime... reminds me of Fireside Theatre (if only in spirit).

watched the first Sakura Taisen OVA over the weekend... not bad... but i was expecting more of the main story, instead it was pretty much all the back stories of the game characters... interesting, but it jumped around a bit too much.
