How does that tie in to the story?

Lindeman has Hiro's sword, and has been buying the paintings that Isaac has been doing; he also got ripped off by Nikki (who had to pay him back by doing the internet thing); plus he's sponsoring (and funding!) Nathan's campaign.......I'm not sure he even has a hand in the "Paper Mill" that Claire's "father" is responsible for (where Sylar will bust out of)

I'm not sure what it is that Peter thinks he's going to learn from the invisible man. I mean, he's not going to explode because he's absorbed the power of invisibility. He's going to explode because he's going to, at some point in the near future, come into contact with radioactive guy.

Isn't the invisible man going to teach him how to control his powers... I mean, we saw radioactive guy learning to control his, maybe that's the crucial point... when Peter comes into contact with him, he won't know how to control it, and R-man does. So that's what the invisible man is going to teach him.

yeah. peter is the only one without any type of grasp on his powers. maybe he'll learn how to use ones he's already been in contact with without being near the person.

He needs to learn how to focus his senses to notice that something has changed in him. So that when R-mans power comes in range, he can notice it and focus. Remember tho.. He'll have to be angry to get set off.. Now if stupid Nathan will accept the fact and help him. Then it might not hapen anyways!

i thought they alluded to peter blowing up because he absorbed too many powers, not just because he will eventually absorb radioactivity.

Yeah, I know, but it seems to me that he only retains those abilities temporarily. He can only fly if he's been in contact with his brother, then it wears off. I find it easier to process him not being able to control radioactive guy's abilities and going meltdown than him just absorbing too many powers and popping like a balloon.

Yep, and I'm not sure the whole thing about the sword isn't just like Dumbo and the magic feather that makes him fly...it's probably just going to be a placebo effect and he'll gain control of his powers just by practicing while believing the sword is helping.

They may be throwing us in one direction only twist it around. They continually imply that Peter blows up from absorbing too many powers but in one of his dreams, doesn't he say something about absorbing a particular person's power (said to Nathan as he was about to explode). Also, I don't think Peter actually knows about the radioactive guy yet and probably runs into him in the desert.

Remember, they first implied that the radioactive guy would explode himself. I think the producers like to play with us like that.

Anyways, Peter is looking to learn how to control his powers in general and seems to think the Invisible Man can teach him for whatever reason. It could save him if he were about to explode from just the one person's power but it seems doubtful that he will learn to control many powers at one time.

I think he should stand near Claire when he absorbs the power.....one hand on her.....that way he won't go "boom"

I think that whole "Save the cheerleader, save the world" thing might come in to play soonish. Also the web comics on the heroes site shows a few new super heroes. Apparently the radioactive dude isn't really a bad guy.

Okay. So the Dr. Who guy hinted that he has "trained" others to harness their powers. But Mohinder's dad only compiled a list of 35. Does that mean that's all he came up with? Or is that just the younger generation and not the parents carrying the genetic anomaly or whatever? Because obviously Claire's mother has powers.

I think that that is all he came up with. The list appears to just be the names of people he managed to find with whatever scientific method he used to track the gene. Then he was killed. A question I have is, were those all he could find and he got stuck, or was he just killed before he could continue? And if that is the case, there is a chance that Claire's mom, Dr. Who and even Micha might not be on the list.

So the question remains, does Mohinder just use his dad's data as is, or does he step up and advance the research by standing on the shoulder's of his dad's work. If he's a true scientist, he won't just work with what he's got, he'll improve on it.
