I don't like the whole Nikki thing too much either but Jessica is pretty badass (did you notice how nervous her target got when Parkman said "she"?) and the ability to literally rip people into pieces on regular basis isn't such a bad power to me. Who knows, maybe we'll see Nikki throwing cars at people in the future.

Why did she cover up that tattoo though? I suppose it was so no one would have any distinguishing marks to identify her with but it's also the same symbol seen throughout the series (like the sword). Does having it give Nikki more control just as the sword is supposed to give Hiro control over his abilities?

I think having the tattoo is more like an ID tag.......something like a "this was made by Acme Labs" type of thing. I mean, while that was cool that she could huck Matt out the window like he was a piece of paper (and he looks to be a 6'1" 300 lb guy) it still is puzzling that she's just an assassin......even more so that her FAMILY didn't recognize that it was Jessica, and NOT Nikki. (I thought her son could tell right off the bat.)

I think that would be a handy power to get money from ATMs, though.......talk about saving yourself from financial ruin!

Can this be found on DVD? I have issues with the bombardment of ads on the free to air channel it's on. Every 2 seconds a banner flies across the screen about quitting smoking or prison break or weight watchers. Very annoying.

No DVD out. Given the timing of things, I'd expect the first season to be out on DVD near the end of the 2nd season...seems that's how it usually works.

I remember the dirty connection between them, I just don't remember anything that would make Linderman want to ice him. Considering how nearly every super-powered person ends up having some kind of tie to him, I wouldn't be surprised if Linderman has an active hand in things...though I don't know if I buy that Claire's dad works for him; his operation seems entirely too government black ops style for a crime boss.

I still find the concept interesting enough. I'm pretty sure that the whole mirror thing is in her head, in fact, that got clinched when the cop "overheard" their conversation on the stairs. He reads minds. Her mind is fractured into two seperate voices, so there's no alternate mirror dimension for her to be stuck in. She just doesn't realize that her body has the superstrength all the time, and not just when Jessica is in control, because she's a nutjob.

Dauber from Coach? Starring Craig T. Nelson of Poltergeist fame alongside the shorter, fatter, uglier van Dyke?

I still watch the reruns at 4 am.

If/When Nikki comes to terms with her abilities ( i believe that she should be able to access them at anytime ). She will lose the 'second voice' in her head.
It would appear that her whole problem is self pity. If she accepts what happened to her sis, she might meld her power self to her normal self and use the powers knowingly. The second persona is her personal hell, and regrets at losing the sister.. Shame they didn't play the shrink longer to help her char get a grip on the underlying cause of her problem..

Survival instinct (and its tie to these abilities) seems to be becoming a theme in the show. And it seems that Hiro learned a new ability of sorts but is Ando really going home?

And Matt Parkman is probably digging himself a hole after the diamonds and now going after Bennett. It's doubtful that he's ever going to get a break. Speaking of digging holes...Isaac and Peter will have some 'splainin to do.

i'm still not sure what exactly it was he did. it was like he stopped time and made the last 10 seconds NOT happen. cause originally, i think she killed the other guy, the neon blew up, then she shot at them. all we saw was the bullet reverse, but suddenly the man is still alive to be able to attack her before she can shoot, and a car on the street in blown up, while the neon doesn't have a scratch on it.

unless we start tempering the the possibilities of alternate universe/fate control, i have no idea what the hell happened.

Claude is the name of Eccleston's character (the invisible man). The name had been known online for awhile.

Hiro told Ando that the gun must have misfired but he was probably unsure of what happened himself. I'm inclined to think this is some new ability but can never be sure with this show. It's like he gained the ability to reverse only specific events rather than all of time.

Well now that we know that Peter retains all the power he absorbs from others, that makes him the most badass hero ever.

Interesting that Sylar has to kill people to gain his... it'll really bust his balls when he finds out about Peter.

Mohinder is a stupid ass. Knowing his father was killed by Sylar, a person who has certain capabilities, and then suddenly trusting this guy that he's mistaken for another guy, and finds a dead body, obviously killed by Sylar that he had just visited the day before. For a genetic genius he sure is fucking thick. He didn't think to do a background check or even run a google search on the melting guy before he visisted him? Find a picture? Know who he's supposed to be expecting?

i missed the previous episode, how did mohinder find the chick with the hearing? was it someone he tracked or was it someone already on his fathers list? because i think his father had pictures to almost everyone on his list.

I just want Peter and Isaac to rip each other a new asshole over Simone's death.....and the fact that Peter is too fucking bad ass would make it a ten second fight! lol

And I agree that Mohinder is stupider than a box of rocks if he didn't figure out that his new "partner" is Sylar.....I mean, c'mon! I also wonder how Sylar acquires the powers of the next victim........does he eat the brain or something? They never said.......and that would be just sick.
