I liked it a lot better when it was called "Exorcist" What the flipping fuck is wrong with Hollywood today that those shit-weasels have to constantly remake and rewrite the storylines of great movies of yore to turn a quick buck? They made a shit-debacle out of the last exorcist film... jesus.

ANd they try to justify it, oh this is goig to be more based on the true story of the actual case, REALLY? Really... interesting then why didnt you use a little boy instead of a girl? oh thats right because girls have better shock value than boys and because youre basically ripping off the exorcist film. Fucking fuck!

I can't say it's a rip-off yet; just because it's about possession/exorcism doesn't necessarily mean it's a rip-off. This film seems to involve much more movement, in terms of Emily, in that she isn't strapped to a bed the entire time.

I'll be seeing it. Me calling it a rip-off at this point would be like calling every rap album a rip-off of Run DMC.

you know i've heard that she did her own voice... but i'm excitted to see this exorsist movie... since like its been mentioned before at least this person isn't tied down or chained to the bed... so that should be alot of crazy stuff going on...

that movie was good and it made me cry a lil bit. where as i am not the type to cry at any kind of movie no matter what it is.. but i cried over this one. mainly they were all in a trial about her case in the court room and everyone is telling there side of the story to her demonic possession... for one thing nobody could understand why this girl had gotten possessed because she was seriously religious and she was into god. but she got possessed anyway and got touched through god by his marking through her possession in a stigmata way... well this girl didn't have much of a life to begin with. she said that through her possession and she was her self in the daytime for rest.. that she had a choice to make... she could either stay in her possessed body and suffer from being possessed by six demonds that were all terrible and againts god to die or she could leave in perfect spirit form in peace with mary. but she chose to stick around eventhough she had nothing to go back to. the reason why she wanted to stay was because she wanted to prove to people that she wasn't crazy and that there is such a thing as possession and that it can actually happen to people... so that made me cry.

it was alot different from the origional exorcist with linda blair... but they both were different story's on possession..... but this couldn't top the exorcist with linda blair at all... but i gave this a thumbs up...

i'm still sad about it actually. what i ment by mary. i ment she saw the vergin mary in the open foggy field where she was normal and her self for a lil while when they took a break from possessing her body. heck if i was in her spot i would of left in peace if i had nothing to really go back to and if people wanted to think of me being crazy i'd so let them think what they want to think. that was just sad...
