This probably won't get any replies. Not sure if anyone's ever read the book or its sequal Eldest. But it's a book I really enjoyed, and I have a thing for fantasy shit. Especially fantasy shit about dragons. But they're making a movie. And I'm excited. Even if none of the rest of you porkfaces are. http://www.eragonmovie.com http://www.randomhouse.com/teachers/...ragonMovie.htm http://imdb.com/title/tt0449010/ In Memory of the Busby Babes :

You took the time to reply to a thread about a movie you've never heard about, based on a book you've never read, that you're not interested in.

I provided 3 links. The third being imdb.com, one would assume the credited cast would be listed there. In Memory of the Busby Babes :

imdb.com is notorious for miscasting films that are still in production, i remember hearing that Matt Damon was up for a role on the Naruto series... heh. ___Nick_the_Rogue___ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Errortrouge = Tool
I've read both of the books, and while I liked the first of the series the second left me bored and apathetic. Problem is Paolini made it WAY too predictable, by the end of the first book I had already figured out all the major 'Surprises' he had instore for the sequel.
After the VERY lengthy body of 'Eldest' with the payoff being the big reveal of the Red Dragon and his rider, (Uh DUH? Who didn't know that was coming...) it just left me wanting more. Plus I really wanted Arya and Eragon to get it on.
As for the movie, I'm looking forward to it. I like that Sienna G. has been cast for Arya and with the length of films, the boring parts of the book will hopefully be non-existant. I'll be checking this one out for sure.
P.S. Interesting Tid Bit, I live just a few miles away from Paolini. So even though I'm not a die-hard fan it's still pretty cool to have someone famous other than Peter Fonda and Ted Turner (Major Dickheads) representing South West Montana. I absolutely refuse to believe no one cares about this movie. This is gonna be on par with LOTR for me. I absolutely loved this book. Anyway, if anyone cares... updated shit here. http://www.shurtugal.com In Memory of the Busby Babes :

Um... I don't know. It's got your standard elves, dragons, humans, and monsters. But unlike a lot of fantasy, there's not a rousing band of hero friends that fight evil together. It's got political intrigue, some romance, racism of a sort, philosophy, battles of ethics and morality.
It's hard to explain. I suggest you read Eragon. It's an easy read. In Memory of the Busby Babes :

I tried to get into it, but just didn't hold my fancy. That and I got a little bitter over the fact that is Eragon got made and they've barely done any pre-production on Artemis Fowl. It's been, like, 3 years!! 好きなものは好きだからしょうがない!! So, fuck it. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. Eragon's a simpler story.
But I'm totally stoked about the Dragonlance movie rumors.
I've been wanting that to be a movie forever. Next they gotta do Drizzt. In Memory of the Busby Babes :

Yeah. I could see getting major pissed if it wasn't up to standards. I've been in love with Drizzt for a while now.
I just want to see some sexy dark elf chopping up orcs with twin scimitars. In Memory of the Busby Babes :
