Sooo many epics, I guess they are becoming popular. I remember being in 5th grade reading the LOTR books and dreaming of a movie, now they made one.
I didnt like it.
They took the Illead, one of the coolest books I ever read.
Then they made the war last like 30 days and 12 of it was truce that thing was supposed to be 10 years long, ten years.
Troy was a huge setup for the Odyssey, and they will probially destroy that you cannot make the odyssey into a little 3 hour event. EPIC!
I love the style, but drop from the books, so if your story is good you can get credit for it as opposed to writing a stupid offshot and slaughtering it and having me complain about it.

O' Brother Where Art Thou is a pretty good make of the Illiad and the Odyssey

I was going to watch that, but the group of people I was with didnt want to. We went to see daredevil, what a dissapointment.

I liked LOTR. Though there were some things that I liked in the book that they, for some dumb reason, decided to change, they also took out a lot of boring crap that I hated in the books. Luckily, the extended versions were the ones that I liked the most.

I didn't like O' Brother, Where Art Thou? very much. It was pretty boring, like most movies of The Oddsey. Unless they plan on making a 4 to 5 hour, action/adventure version that keeps me interested the way the book did, then they should probably stop attempting to make it into a film.

you make me laugh.......O' Bro Where Ya At came out years before Daredevil.....like maybe four years ago? letz see....i saw the movie with my buddy Will....which means he was at my house, which means i hadn't fucked his girlfriend, which means we were still friends, which means....yeah, O' Brother Where Art Thou has got to be like four years old or some shit.....it has George Clooney and John Goodman in it.....itz a Cohen Brothers films....those dudes that did The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, Stuck On You....and some other off-the-wall comedies
