buy it. well go on, buy it, support capatalism, support bush and gasoline and guns; buy the fucking movies!
don't worry, the left has nothing to do with the movies. the gore, the "what if's" by you and your stoned friends are tax free.
alright, so you are stoned, see "dawn of the dead" and defenatly "land of the dead," get a feel for the zombie thing.
sooner or later you will be up at 3:30 in the morning watching twilight zone re-runs and thinking "i'd just shoot the motherfucker" as you turned the light off to go to bed. take em all, take em all, put our back against a wall and shoot em, toe to toe, watch em fall, come on boys take em all.

I buy gasoline and guns already. Should I still buy it?
Did you like Land? I mean I thought it was ok, but it was a total let down. For a movie as hyped as it was I was prepared to have a total experience and all I got was a rehashing of the original night of the living dead/dawn of the dead in the future. Nothing even new about the virus or the rest of the world.

I didn't think it was that hyped. I only heard about like a week before it came out. I didnt even see it on tv, the other sous chef that's way into horror movies told me about and my reaction was "you sure ramaro directed it?"
I dont think he had any intention of dealing with the virus. The whole ending was about co-habition. But if you really sit and think about with the mindset of the movie (man's cornered by countless enemies only out to consume man's flesh) that really could never happen, But enough with hypatheticals.
I thought it was better then day. It just had more of a plot and better developed charactors. In day, the only really developed charactors were the chick and rhodes. I though Liguazamo did a really good job moving from mostly comedies into a BIG cult director like romaro. If you saw that dumb movie about him being an annoying little fuck for 2 hours, you get my meaning. I liked the big black zombie, and i liked that instead of zombies being the antagonist, that guy from Easyriders, i cant remember his name, was the brunt of a big portion of violent intentions.
It's kinda like living together with your enemies just to stick it to the man. But on the other hand, i came there to watch people get arms and torso's tore off, which was kinda in there. The leatherboy zombie "blade", remember him in dawn, made a reappearence and he was the uncle of one of my buddies in high school, which made it kinda cool.
anyways, it was decent. just thank god it wasnt as bad as the remake of "dawn." Vic rames is cool, but a 6'5" black, shotgun toating fonzi couldnt have helped that movie. take em all, take em all, put our back against a wall and shoot em, toe to toe, watch em fall, come on boys take em all.

I came away with a much sadder realization of the movie. It was C+ material form a B- director. And there was a load of hype from what I saw around here for this flick, maybe not in commercials, but all over the net, and in everyones mouths. It was just a meaningless movie to me that didnt even fit in with the other 3. The learning zombies I thought was stupid and the movie followed the exact same plot line as the other 3 films which was annoying.
