Went to amazon to buy "The Crow" & learned there are three sequel movies & a TV series. I bought "City of Angels" (cheesy POS I've turned backward in the collector case so no one can see the title) & "Salvation", which returned to the color scheme of the original and avoided the sickening cloy of CoA.

What movie in the series do you prefer, and why?

...did you seriously prefer the Kirsten Dunst one to the second one? Eric Mabius is a terrible actor. AND IT HAD KIRSTEN DUNST.

I gotta agree. The second one was fairly weak. The third was terrible. And the one with Edward Furlong made me want to kill a small child in anger. It was that bad.

Brandon Lee made that movie and that movie would have been the one that set off his career. The Lee "curse" in action.

Well, one doesn't watch "The Crow" for the chick. In fact, they would have done better leaving them out altogether (that was a British sentence construction just for you).

EM's puckish face is incapable of forming the really dark expressions the crow guy should have, but I thought that made tghe character seem more natural & gave the movie a more hopeful air.

I thought Salvation was enjoyable if you viewed it objectively without comparing it to the Original. Trying to compare the sequels to the original is just stupid: There's no comparing Brandon Lee to anyone, especially when he died. The 1998 series though . . . There is no excuse for that. If they considered for a moment the possibility of how irredeemably shitty it would be: They would have created completely new character instead of further Violating poor Eric and Shelly.

I didn't say a word about watching the movie "for the chick". She had a big enough part to make the whole thing suck worse than it already would have had she not been in it.
