Yeah, I had a similar experience with the Goonies...but I still own my own copy cause hell it was a great movie when I was a kid. But some movies rock no matter how many years pass between viewing..

Like Troll. Have you ever seen that? I watched it thousands of times when I was younger. I saw it recently and still enjoyed it thoroughly. It was where a troll from medieval times turns an entire apartment complex into a trollish jungle in urban America. But the kid who played Arteyu in Neverending Story is the hero who saves the apartment complex and his little sister who was possessed. Oddly enough, his character's name was Harry Potter.
