1) Just wanted to know if anyone had any opinions on the new Science Fiction TV wav. Specifically:

The new Battlestar Galactica
the ending of Stargate SG-1 ( the show that got me watching tv again, damn them!)
Stargate Atlantis
The return of Farscape.

2) Is there anything good outthere outside of whats going on with the sci-fi channel

Never been a trekie fan, looking foward to the Farscape mini-series to hopefully put right the crap they finished it with...

Spike TV has started reruns of STDS9, which is always enjoyable...

For one they are still going to have both stargate sg1 and the new spin off (not sure why they want two when they can carry one for both story lines lol). The return of farsape (which Im really psyched about btw lol) is in the form of a 2 part miniseries with future endeavors pending.

Stargate SG-1 is my favorite....although I miss Stargate/Farscape together on Scifi...I'm looking forward to the Farscape mini series and Stargate Atlantis...I didn't really like the Battlestar Galactica mini series, but I'll probably watch a couple of episodes of the series and give it a try...

Oh OH! The new Stargate Atlantis. *hearts* I'm so excited. I looooooooove SG-1 and can't wait for Atlantis to come on DVD... as I rarely have time for television.

I really liked Battlestar Galactica... I had a strange love for Cleopatra 2525... It was so lame it was exciting. And Seaquest. Poor Jonathan Brandis...

New Battlestar - G sucked story has massive holes in it and seems writen by an idiot compleately insulting the old series and all around just sad ! hell the Cybermen would have been better than this shows Cylons ! DAY WAZ SOO STUUPID !!

If you ever want to know anything about what happens on StarGate SG-1 I AM YOUR FREAKING MAN.
I've watched the reruns so many times that it's a miracle I can't recite the lines they use.

okay when was o'niel captured by Baal-I saw it in a flash back but never saw the episode-what happened?

Okay, spoiler alert here and now!
TEH SPOILER ALERT DAMN YOU.

In an episode during the "Jonas Quinn" season(a lot of people hated him) they encountered an Ancient buried in ice in the Antarctic near where they discovered the second Stargate.
After she melted and revived(She had like..super recovery powers or something) it came to be known that she was infected with some sort of disease/virus, and O'Neill fell victim to it.
After she healed the others(Super ancient healing powers damn you!) she couldn't heal O'Neill, so he was shipped off to the Tok'ra and they stuck a worm in him.

The next episode comes along..
And O'Neill is being totally controlled by the worm. Like a Goa'uld would do. Yes, that's a bad thing, and even Selmak(Carter's dad's worm) didn't like it one bit when he learned about it. O'Neill was forced to try and rescue a woman that the worm had liked/loved/whatnot, but she was in Baal's fortress of solitude(joke).

The escape failed, the worm slithered off and died.
Baal tortured O'Neill because he wished to learn why O'Neill had come, why he had attempted to take the woman from Baal..you know, the normal Goa'uld whippie bargle.

O'Neill escapes(Yu or someone shows up and blows up a power generator for the base) and the episode ends with O'Neill waking up in the infirmary, talking with everyone, talking with the dead Daniel and going back to sleep.

cool thanks-heres a question though -I've only seen one episode of the jonas season-how did daniel die/acend?

SG-1 went to the planet that was where Jonas originates from.
They had Naquadria(a spiffy type of naquada), and they had created a bomb.
However the bomb was futzing up, and so demonstrating his heroism Daniel leaped through the window and turned it off.

He was so badly assaulted by radiation that his body was completely ravaged with dead cells, and dying cells, and so he basically died.
But he ascended!
