Is anyone else looking foward to it? It sounds like a great movie.

i will see it... but i dont think its the end all be all of movies... i think i will enjoy itabove many other movies though...

See it before you see Resident Evil or you'll be sorely dissapointed with Blade 2.

I am for sure of seeing Blade 2. There is no question on that. As for RE I am not sure yet. I don't know if I want to see it yet.

I was watching a trailer of Blade 2 and Wesley Snipes was guaranteeing that the second one will be better then the first (I know I'd say the same thing so people would come see it...hehe). I plan on seeing it and I honestly am hoping its as good or better as the first...if its so-so I'll still be happy...I hope.

I don't care what anyone says Blade kicks some ass!! As for Blade 2 we will just have to wait and see. I hope it will be a hell of a lot better than all the movies that are out now.

No I was not adding RE into the mix. There are only a few excpetions.

I just hope is as nice as the first movie..

while not quite the wallop of a movie i was hoping for, it was still entertaining. better than the first one IMO. more atmospheric. the movie never lets up but i never felt like i was being hammered over the head with things either. plenty of action all around. the fight scenes were well choreographed and more importantly WELL shot! it wasnt just blurry close ups and pummeling sound effects. you could actually tell what was going on. the effects were hit and miss. the main baddies of the film, the Reapers. were viscious enough and are a pretty cool creation and the effects that were used in conjunction with their..."speciality" were very well integrated. the CGI 'stuntmen' do not fare as well. some shots look good. others come off poorly. all in all just a good evening out at the movies.

now i just hope that del toro (the director) gets to do the movie adaptation of the comic book HELLBOY. *crosses fingers*

another thing. people! drive defensively! i nearly got broad sided by some woman in her fancy sportsmobile when she decided to just basically EJECT herself out of her parking space without giving a second thought to looking where she was going. they are called rear view mirrors for a reason. use them.

[color=lime] I just saw Blade II today, Saturday.....and it was a kool entertaining movie.....To tell you the truth, during the first 40 minutes or so there was just a bit too much action...I was starting to get somewhat bored off all this "mindless" action.
but then as the movie almost ended, it got better.....The story had somewhat of a plot twist.
And these new "supervampires" called "Reapers",Man!!!! Those were some bitch a$$ nasty dudes,lol.....It was somewhat kool in a gross kind of way,which worked nicely to keep my attention. Thier mouth splits in two "a la predator" style and a "Alien" style mini mouth comes out. It is very nicely done...The way the movie was directed was very awesome!!!! I like the look and feel of the movie overall. The director said it was made to feel like a "Comic Book-Japanese Animation" and especially at the end scene the comic book simalrities were very noticeable....

And like DarkStorm said.....you might want to see this before Resident Evil or see them a week apart or so...Personally....I saw Resident Evil first on opening weekend, and then a week later, I saw Blade2, so I was not set up for a disappointment. Like lovecraftian~tentacle said, the fight scenes were very well done and entertaing

You know... RE didn't seem to be as commercialized as I thought it was going to be.

I can't wait for Blade 2, though. If it's as good as the first one, then I'll be satisfied.

When is The Time Machine coming out? That is going to kick ass. I've like read that book a thousand times. I bet they do a re-make Journey to the Center of the Earth too. What other Jules Verne shit can they make? Hmmm... You know they're making a movie for Orson Scott Card's book, "Enders Game"? I heard it's going to have Sean Connery and that kid, Haley Joel Osmand. All I got to say is, they better not fuck the movie up and not make it go along with the book, or I'll be bitchin' like a... like a.... Well, I'll be bitchin!

um. heh. the TIME MACHINE has been out for a couple of weeks. in the states anyway. there is a thread for it. go there and read my oh so insightful review of the film.

Oh well, I guess I need to get back with the picture. And Tentacle, I just have to watch the movie... Everyone has their opinion, ya know
