I decided that this forum isn't geeky enough. So I made a BSG thread (that and a pretty lady wanted me to do more than talk about Heroes).

This season doesn't seem to have been as good as previous seasons, outside of the rescue from New Caprica, but its still probably my favorite show currently on air (or at least close to it...Heroes is getting pretty good and Doctor Who series 2 is fantastic).

I happen to think this season is turning out great so far. My only criticism of the show was that they should have taken some plots from last season and spread them out a little more. There were so many possibilities with the Admiral and with the black market, I thought it was sad to see them go start to finish in three episodes. And this new/old plot with Starbuck and Apollo is interesting. I'm excited to see where it's going. I want to see more of Zarek though. I just can't decide if I like him or hate him. And I want Adama and Roslin to get it on for chrissake. That man needs some lovin!

Heroes is also one of my favorites, and I'm really liking the Doctor Who spinoff Torchwood. Love it actually. But that's not the point of this thread.

I've only seen the first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica. Or whatever. They number them funny. Last episode I saw was when they find another battlestar and two homedudes go to blow it up or something? I don't know. It's been a year. I keep meaning to go buy the next season, but I got wrapped up in Torchwood and Heroes.

What old plot with Apollo and Starbuck? Are they gonna do it? Have they done it? I always wanted them to do it.

Wasn't Starbuck a guy in the original series?

I just saw the first few episodes but I didn't like it very much .

Yeah, everything that happened after the Kaine (sp?) died seemed to go fast, like the black market episode. Not only did Pegasus go through a few commanders but Apollo went from Lieutenant (he had been demoted) to Captain to Major and past Colonel to Commander, all in only a few weeks. And now he's a Major again. What...so getting your Battlestar destroyed gets you demoted? Pshh.

Yes, apparently Apollo and Starbuck got it on while they were on New Caprica, during a flashback. I hope they flash back to New Caprica more because they seemed to get off of there very quickly. I had hopes they would spend at least the half-season on there because its always good for a series to go in a new direction but now we seem to be back to where we were before Pegasus.

I like the weird little relationship that Adama and Roslin have going on. If they actually "got it on" it would spoil the whole thing.

I hope they do more flashbacks too, I'd like to know more about went on during the entire year they were down there.
