I've only had pb & strawberry fruit spread on whole grain bread. I'm feeling cranky and want to be babied today and wish someone would make me something. "Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people."---C. G. Jung

maso, how do you have time to cook in the mornings? It's all I can do to make myself up & get to work by 8:15.
~G~, that's what restaurants are for.
I had soy chocolate milk, yet another diet frozen entree, an apple, Hamburger Helper, a light yogurt and some real chocolate milk (1%, sugar free), for comparison to the soy. It has a heavy "mouth feel". Oh, and a bottle of Diet Dr Pepper.

Hey, never mind restaurants....I didn't even leave the house today. I stayed home and played hooky from work because I needed a mental health day. No one was here and I didn't have to even think all day which was nice for a change.
Here are the shocking additions to my intake for day:
= A bowl of what was left of the neapolitan Breyer's from last week, with cream poured on it for some odd reason
= A bowl of egg noodles with a little bit of butter, ketchup, a dash of cream and Parmesan cheese
= Water
= a few broken palmeritas cookies
= a cup of Natural Calm (lemon raspberry flavor)
InKY, since you are the Dr. Pepper fan, what exactly are the 23 flavors that are alllegedly in it? I rarely watch TV but I saw a commercial to that effect on tonight and I never liked the taste of Dr. Pepper, but I was wondering...I thought it was sort of supposed to taste like a cherryish. Today: no brekkie
Tea
Lunch: rice and various meats left over from dinner at my parents...roast duck, chinese roast pork and slices of beef. My mum goes nuts when we have guests! Last night for dinner there was: salmon (raw), blue cod (steamed), Chicken and abalone soup, roast duck, roast pork, beef, fish ball curry, chinese vegies, mushroom and dried oysters....and rice of course. We are meat eaters around here! have you seen my marbles?

you are welcome too. I like to cook for people - not big groups though, just 4 people max.
I think this thread inspired me to choose a vegie burger for dinner. I'm normally very carnivorous. I had a chick pea and sesame seed pattie with peanut satay. It was delish. have you seen my marbles?

nothing, i don't normally eat till after 5PM You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

I'll look into it. There is a Pepsi bottling facility near here that bottles DDP, but they don't have tours. I had pizza rolls for bkfst, McDonalds fruit & walnut salad and chicken nuggets for lunch, and chicken & green beans for dinner. I've really stuffed it in today!

Let's see...
Breakfast on the run at work: a handful of raw unsalted almonds and a bottle of Odwalla Superfood juice and water.
Lunch: A piece of whole wheat garlic Texas toast and some weird chicken cordon bleu roll I found in the freezer and threw in the oven. Then more water at work.
Dinner: Regular lasagne, a plain salad with o/v dressing, a small dish of mixed veggies, seltzer w/lemon, a small piece of apple crumb cake and a decaf tea.
Now: A cup of Twinings chamomile tea.
I haven't drunk nearly enough water today.
And mas and InKY, if you lived closer, I'd have you both over for dinner for sure. I like cooking too. "Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people."---C. G. Jung

Some raw almonds, and I am just finishing a bowl of organic pasta/veggie soup. I'm seeing if I want to scrounge up anything else. And of course, more water. I've gotta have the water. "Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people."---C. G. Jung

Breakfast was scrambled eggs with oregano, onion, mushroom and garlic on toast.
I guess my lunch was instant noodles with about 7 peas - that's all the peas we had left. i hate it when people leave a couple peas in the bag. It makes me think that we don't need to buy any until i realise that there's like nothing in the bag. have you seen my marbles?

Add to my list dinner...we went out to Charlie Brown's.
Salad with mixed lettuce, green bell pepper, a few beets, cukes, red onion, some sort of pepper mixture and a small piece of shredded cheese that I took because the pepper fell in the cheese bucket and the man who replenishes the salad bar was there at the time...he's this little Asian man who takes the salad bar very seriously, almost like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, so I apologized and picked the pepper out. I put some sort of sesame Oriental dressing on it. Then for food I had broccoli, and some grilled chicken thingie with spinach, artichoke and jack cheese on it atop mushrooms. Later, we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts and I got a rare cup of decaf, black, which I brought home and dumped some Horizon cream into...now I'm sipping a hot cup of Natural Calm (lemon-raspberry flavor).
I like the days when I have some sort of weird story to tell instead of just saying I ate this and this and this. This is also one of the best threads to go in when I feel like posting without a lot of thought. "Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people."---C. Inky, that's the dinner of champions Brocolli is da bomb.
Since I last posted, I've had a coffee smoothie - they didn't have the ice coffee I wanted so I got that instead. It was very yummy, but not worth a whole $5.50!
Oh well. Sometimes you need a treat. have you seen my marbles?
