i think i'm seriously fucking addicted to sushi. i've taken several friends out to dinner this week (just as an excuse to have more sushi) and dropped about $300 on sushi meals within seven days. anyone else down with the raw?

I had sushi tonight actually. I started with miso shuri, then had california, alaskan, and catterpiller rolls, with a side of unagi.

I less than three sushi.

I got a wee bit burned out on it working at a japanese place. somehow when you serve it to people it loses its appeal. although i'm still all about some tuna sushi (or even sashimi these days)

unagi kicks ass.

i can imagine anything you served would lose some sort of appeal. sushi still kicks ass, although i'm not too big on sashimi, i like nigiri too much.

i like how you don't feel sick after you eat it. it feels like you did your body good, compared to other choices of eatery...

i absoluetely LOATHE sushi... and no its not because i havent had good sushi.. i just dont like it... in particular i hate Japanese food... the only thing i like are the Soba and Udon noodles...

i wasn't too big on sashimi either until the sushi chef just started cutting me pieces of it one night. mmm...i'm all about some philly roles too....

yeah, being stuffed on sushi feels 10x better than being stuffed from a fast food restaurant.

i love japanese food though. there's a little japanese restaurant around the corner from my house that is awesome.

Sushi is such a wonderful treat.

I terribly dissapointed that no one has mentioned the best thing about sushi places.

when i was still at uni [i'm on summer holiday now] i ate sushi everyday for every break
i never got sick of it
i can never get sick of it
except one time i had a REALLY bad sushi roll at some place down the road from where i live ... it was horrid ...

but it still hasnt put me off sushi

i'm not really big on yellow tail or white fish.


has anyone tried the egg one? i have yet to try that one.

that is definitely a risk, that's why i stick to higher end sushi places and ones i know.

the roe? yeah its neat, although not really my favorite. they pop in your mouth...

I adore sushi but can never find anyone to eat it with me. Aside from that I can't seem to find a decent place with variety around here.

As far as Sake goes, I can drink that shit warm until I pass out on the floor. It's one of the few alcohols that I really enjoy drinking. Damn you people, now I want some sushi and sake.
