I have come to notice that there is no thread for piercings and tattoos, which is an interest of mine. I would post pics of the tattoos I have but sadly I can not figure out how to do attachments.

Does anyone else have tattoos and/or piercings?? If so what and where.

I have two tattoos both egyptian based one on my back and one on my wrist. I also have 10 holes in my head lol. I have 3 holes in each lobe, my lip, my tongue, and an industrial in my left ear (2 holes).

There has been threads about it, but they mostly end up in Adult because of the placement of some tattoos and piercings. Though there have been a few tat threads in Photography as well.

But to answer your question:
5 Tattoos.... 3 on my back, one armband and one on my calf.
9 piercings... Belly, lip, the rest in my ears.

Four in each ear ( lobes stretched to 6 ga., tragus, cartilage streteched to 12 ga.); Lip; Tongue; Labret; Nipples; Quadruple belly button piercing (industrial).

You're right though...Tats and piercings (even though I have no tats yet...give me time I'm still young!) are an interest of mine. I've only had two of my piercings done professionally and the rest were done by either a) me or b) my friend Jamica who works part time at a tat parlor down here in knoxville. It's kind of cool because she's taught me how to pierce people up and I just pierced my boyfriend's labret. The shitty thing about that experience: I had to pop a 14 ga. labret ring through an 18 ga. hole. Needless to say, it was very painful for him but it looks great and its his favorite piercing now, as my labret is mine as well. It's just a fun piercing. Looks good, feels cool, fun to play with...yeah. I'll shut up n ow. I'm bored. Sorry, guys. heh.

Hmm I've posted pics of my tattoos before... It's longwinded to try and explain. The easiest is the red dragon that basically covers my back. And three of the tats are based on Ankh designs.

I have 4 piercings, 2 in each ear. I did have a couple more in my ears and my belly but I let them heal over. No tats.

Ooooo interesting that you have lip and labret!! Because I was squinting a bit at that new pic of yours, trying to figure out if you had both. That I have to say is pretty unique, I haven't seen that yet. I do see people alternating their labret piercing as a lip piercing though... given the right size ring that is!

That's kewl. For some reason I will never get my belly button pierced. I think maybe it is because I don't show my stomach much, I have a low self esteem, but thanks to my bf he is starting to change that That's awesome that you know how to do piercings, I don't think I could ever piercing someone, I like to cause pain (hehe) but I would be afriad I would fuck up and the person would get pissed at me *shrugs* oh well. Do you have any plans to get tats??

I love egypt, so the ankh tats are going to be interesting to me The tat that I have on my back is the one on my avatar, It was the first one I got. I went on the day of my 18th b-day to get it. I designed it myself and a friend of mine drew it out for me (since I have trouble drawing stick people lol) I know it is a bit hard to see but it is the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet kneeling on top of an Ankh with a scarab in the center of the ankh.

The second tat I have is on my right inner wrist. It is a scarab with an ankh on each side of it. There is a Pharaohic boat under them and a lotus flower above.

Stunning tattoos!!! The backpiece is much bigger than I thought! Really awesome. So I take it it's on the inside of your wrist? That must have hurt like mad. May I ask why the wrist?

I agree with you on that Shattered, nail piercings are very pointless and in my opinion very stupid. When I was in High school I always saw girls with them and I could never figure out what the point of it was.

Thank you very much, I am very pround of my back piece, I always get compliments where ever I go. Yep the other one is on the inside of my right wrist. It really didn't hurt that much. I think the most painful part was the bottom of the boat that was right on the vein. The main reason I got it on my wrist was because I wanted to have a tattoo that I could see without a mirror. I also liked how it looked when I would picture it there. It was also the first place I thought of when I had the design. So I guess really there wasn't really a reason for placing it where it is lol.

i have my nipple peirced and my ears, but i don't really count those.

i always wanted to get a star tattooed on the inside of my wrist for some reason. instead i got it on my lower back so mum wouldn't see (heehee). probably should have stuck with the wrist, coz the tattoosist fucked it up. i'd still like to get one on my wrist though. when i get married i think i might get my hubbys name on my ankle, but then he reckons it will jinx it, so maybe not.

yeah i hate nail piercings too. i think they're really wierd. i don't understand them at all.

I only hAve 2 right now One on each ear when i was 14 I peirced my ears myself. Its nothing Big but I dont care.
And i have 0 tats yet.

I was thinking about getting my nipples pierced at one time but I decided not too, I don't really know why though.

I don't think I would ever get a name tated on me, just because I haven't hed a lot of luck with guys in the past.

hehe Thanks for the complement on my tat. The upper half took about 3 hours and the bottom I would say was about an hour. He did it in two parts so I was going around for about a month with a tat that was only about 2/3 of the way done. The total time I would say would have to have been over 4 hours though.

you can see where it's been scarred from the tattooist trying to fix it up, and how it's all crooked and stuff. he put this acid shit on it to make bits fall off, and i've had to go back about four times. in fact, i still have to go back, coz it still looks like that. i was so pissed off with him.
i think i might add some more.... but i will definately NOT be going back to the same place!

The tat isn't as bad as you made it out to be lol. I was expecting a really crappy looking tat, but when I looked it was pretty cute. I can see what part you were talking about that you want to get fixed. If I were you I don't think I would go back to him to fix it you should find a better place and tell them what happened and what you want done. Also make sure to ask to see their portfolio of work they have done. If you lived in Milwaukee I could tell you a great place to go. It is where I got my tat done. The artist was super cool and excited to do the work. I checked out about 10 or more places before I decided where to go finally. I picked him because he was more into the design and more open about his opinion and what he thought would be needed to changed to make it look better. lol wow I just started rambeling didn't I lol.
