What's your style?
Personally I go for white face, black eyes (not literally) and red lips. Emphasis mostly on the eyes, the whole liquid eyeliner deal. If I'm doing it for a special night out it can take me about half an hour or more. (I've had years of practice).
What I don't like is the 'Crow' look, it's fantastic on Brandon Lee, but not on Billy Smith. I'm also not fond of little black stars and cobwebs drawn all over the face, it has to be done REALLY well for someone to carry it off, and normally - it isn't.
What about the guys? do any of you wear make-up? I like eyeliner on a guy myself, but again it has to be done properly and you have to have the whole 'look' to carry it off. A friend of mine wears foundation too, suits him.. but he's one of those people that would suit lipstick too if he wanted to wear it.
Also, any make-up tips anyone has - please post. The ones I get asked are how to keep make-up (foundation) on, and how to keep lipstick on. I use Clinique foundation and powder, I find it's the powder that keeps the foundation in place all night. As for the lips, I use foundation as a base then I apply a lip balm. I use a pencil to outline the lips and always use a lip brush to apply lipstick. Blot, and repeat the lipstick. Generally it stays there all night... depends how much 'exercise' the lips have

not all guys caN wear makeup well. i find the pretty boy types can, but not so the manly muscular types. I like eyeliner and mascara, opn a guy, if he has gorgous eyes, like Ewan MsGregor. as far as my makeup, i do wear betwen a pale and light beige, due to that my skin tone isn't too pale and as for lipstick, go with reds and dark pinks. i like to wear eyeliner and mascara and occasionally ,shadow. i don't use powder on the lips, just a stick and outline them with a lip pencil.

I wear mascara, and liquid eyeliner or kohl and use vaseline on the mouth. Sometimes a lipgloss or lipstick.
Personally not a fan of the white face, I'm pale so that'll do.
Wearing foundation makes me feel a bit sick, not sure why. A golden energy
Was rising out of my head
I shed my evil skin
And found myself again I was wrong, I don't mind

i used to wear some light eyeliner in high school, haven't since then. But, I do apply some reddish shadow around my eyes on rare occasions..only when there's something big at the club and I get all decked out. I think that, especially on us guys, that moderation and light use is key... if you over do it, you just look like a fool... or a mansonite. a forced, perfect state

I think moderation should be enforced. Some people pile the slap on with a trowel and look awful. A golden energy

shouldn't this be under fashion? You can look at it as a metaphor for the fleeting nature of human life, or just chalk it up to my being a sick, bloodthirsty monster. Either way, it's all the same.

Likely, but no-one visits fashion (sob) so it gets more response here I guess.
Maybe that's why fashion gets no visitors. A golden energy

Ok, I have a few things to say...
Firstly: I'd wear some eyeliner and mascara and base on stage performances from time to time.
Secondly: does it really annoy you when you see a girl that insists on wearing makeup all the time and they are in constant need of reapplying it. Dependance on makeup is a big turn off with me. It gets in the way of doing something with that person.
Thirdly: do you people wear makeup as a "mask" of what you do/do not want to show people of yourself (psychological) or do you wear it because it's "neccessary" or do you wear it because it generally highlights the good parts of your face that you want to show...? (add more to this, if i left something out)
Fourthly: do you respect/like natural beauty or fake beauty more (in that makeup can make "anyone look hot").. be honest, of course.. i believe in practicing compassion.

2 - yes, it annoys me - go out and have fun, don't worry about your lipstick!
3 - I wear make-up to enhance my good points and disguise the bad points - I wear no make-up at all in the house.
4 - Natural beauty is to be admired, but given the correct 'tools' most people can look pretty.

But what they do and how long it takes them to prepare is they're own business.... chances are, I spend just as much time if not longer in the bathroom getting ready.
[3] I wear it to accentuate my eyes a bit...probably why I spend so much time on my eyebrows as well...
[4] I respect natural beauty as well as fake... not everyone can apply makeup in a manner that looks right. a forced, perfect state

What I do spend hours on is my hair- be it dying, washing, drying, straightening, arranging etc, because while I can do very little about my complexion I can make my hair half-decent. A golden energy

I have so many eye shadow but I only use certain one and no idea why i bought it at the time.
With eyeliner it depend on my mood. I sometime use eye pencil, liquid eyeliner or use a special brush that dip into the black eye shadow and brush it on my eyes as an eyeliner.
I use powder foundation becsuse I am not good at applying liquid foundation and it is much faster using powder foundation.
Blush I only have 2 colour one for the summer and one for the winter.
I used to wear lipstick now I hardly wear them just use chap stick because I don't want to get the lipstick all over the baby.
times for my make up no more than 10 mins and hair like 5 mins What comes around goes around To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I have so much make up also and i never even use any of it. I just buy to buy, i guess. But I just use cover-up...the stick thingy. A little blush. Eyeliner. Mascara. Lip gloss. Sometimes eye shadow...depends on my mood and/or where i'm going. That’s pretty much it tho. I'm pretty simple. I use more eyeliner and mascara then anything really and sometimes that is all i'll wear. Doesn’t take me much to get that all done.
Now my hair. It’s a bitch to dry. But its naturally nice and straight, thank god! So it takes about a half hour to 45mins to do my hair(thats just drying)...Sometimes more depending on what I wanna do with it. And people wonder why i just leave it wet.
