Oh, life's been nice to me too... My bf is sweet and honest and I've been lucky to have a good relationship with him, hardly ever bicker... hehe unless we're playing around. He does that a lot to me. Anyhooo, today's his birthday so I got him some satellite radio parts lol ... he looks super happy now that he's got the whole thing together and right now I think he's listening to it in his car

lol cool, sounds like your happy. My bf and I met through a friend, it's a funny story actually, I had met him the night before I broke up with my ex, then didn't see him till a couple of months later. It was funny the night we met and we were both single. (though I can't really post why on here) We hooked up for a bit, with no committements, then started to fall in love. But the second time we met, he spent most of the next evening driving up and down the streets trying to remember where I lived so that he could get my phone number. Finally he found the mutual friend. Never had a guy try so hard before, it was sweet. When he did finally call I was sick but we went out for coffee. I warned him I wasn't dressing up or anything for him which he said was fine (I met him both times at a bar before, so I look very different when I go out dancing then I do during the day). it went well and we talked for a couple of hours, then a few days later he told me when he first seen me the day we went for coffee he liked me better then when he met me when we were dancing......all I was wearing was jeans and a baggy sweater....it was great.

It was a while after new year's eve 2003 when I met my boyfriend. We met though a mutual friend too, of course. My best friend and I were online chatting it up with all our friends (quite a full screen) and this friend pops on all of a sudden to ask us if we wanted to go play pool. So we said "Sure, we'd love to." Then he asked us if we didn't mind if he brought "a freaky friend" with him, and lol ... we didn't mind. We ended up taking my mom's bf's kid with us, she was 13 at the time. It took my bf like an hour to show up after we got to our pool place. Lol ... So the minute he strolls in, my jaw drops, he was so ... sexy! He dressed up like he was some cool vampire-y guy lol ... but he was such a gentleman. It was too bad I didn't have the nerve to talk to him other than say "hi" of course... lol. So later that night after we got home, my best friend told me she spotted him like staring at my rear end several times then I was like... "That's it. I'm asking him out." The very next day I got that friend to call him up for a bowling game and we hit it off. Lol he was so shy....

And one more thing. I was drunk the night I first met him. He didn't know until I told him months later!! LOL Then he confessed that when he saw me that night, he thought I was younger than I really was. I was 19 and he took me for a 16 year old! Omg!

Aiiight then! Update!
I now live in Texas ... I wonder how many of the people on this site live in that big state... and how Katrina and Rita have affected us all ...

Plus, I think or heard about it, that the Storm Center is going to run out of names for the hurricanes. I don't know if it's this year or next year, or whatever, but that still confuses me, in how the heck can they run out of names?

I only wish the survivors of Katrina and Rita all the help and luck they need.

wow well you guys do have a lot of hurricanes and such there, which makes me glad I live in canada where we just get snow and rain and cold (well befor the global warming problem). I am glad you are well and hope that you are happy.
