what do you think? would you count this as a lifestyle? personally, i simply see it as loving someone of the same gender in the way a straight person loves someone of the opposite gender. no choices about it. isn't that what a lifestyle is all about? choice? i am no longer going to come back to this site. thank for to those i care about for having me here To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. i dont think it's a lifestyle. i think it is loving someone of the same gender in the way a straight person loves someone of the opposite gender.
why would somebody choose to be something that is widely hated? it would be the easier choise to be straight, if it was a choice.
- a (straight)friend of mine went to a gay bar a little while ago, and asked his (gay) friend why everyone around him looked so miserable. his response was, "nobody wants to be gay." 'Go without a coat when it's cold; find out what cold is. Go hungry; keep your existence lean. Wear away the fat, get down to the lean tissue and see what it's all about. The only time you define your character is when you go without. In times of hardship, you find out what you're made of and what you're capable of. If you're never tested, you'll never define your character.'

good point. but i don't think that's true for everybody. i'm a lesbian and i'm okay with that, even with the abuse that i endure from my peers, especially in school. i am no longer going to come back to this site. thank for to those i care about for having me here To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. well since i have woken up from this long deep deep coma that i have been in about this homosexuality lifestyle. i find it to be a joke my self and i hope that i didn't offend you in this post silverflame. i just have my own reasons and a different out look on it is all. if you wish for to explain my reason and out look on why i tend to think this way. i wouldn't mind having a serious conversation with you about it. just as long as i don't get made fun or you don't look at me differently.

It doesn't seem like a lifestyle to me, not anymore then a heterosexual relationship. But that's just my opinion.
I am a lesbian myself and while it is hard at times I don't think if I had the choice, would I change simply because I don't think I could as I see it more as a matter of the heart and not the mind there for unable to be changed so easily if at all. Heh

I would rather say that homosexuality will affect someone's lifestyle. It will change life habits. The people you hang out with, the people you like, those who don't like you and your behavior in general.
Personally I'm heterosexual and I certainly would not want to be homosexual or bisexual, it would just be another problem in my life. Homosexuality does tend to be a problem to most people, mainly due to the facts that it is not widely accepted and that it can cause troublesome relationships.
By troublesome relationships, I mean the ambiguity people could experience. Its already hard enough for guys to be friends with girls...

I'm not sure i understand what u mean with this post. This is how i take it:
You used to think u were homosexual, and obviously figured out u're not anymore, all understandable, but just because u can't find yourself in it anymore, the whole homosexuality-subject is a joke?
U need to specify more, cause this feels as an assult, as if homosexuality is just bullshit and all a fake-theater..
i'm not mad or something, but sometimes people's shortsighness really annoys me..i'm not all out of the 'am i bi or not-thing, but weather i am or not, i'll respect everyone, who doesn't hurt me with his/her lifestyle..
maybe i'm mistaking, but weren't u all over the lesbian thing, all defending it in silverflame's advice-thread?
doesn't really make sense
And i just wanna stand outside
And know that this is right
And this is true and i will not
Fade into,fade into the night

well i'm still in this lifestyle by the way. but i am starting to think of it as a joke. i think the people that are in this type of a lifestyle like to play with your emotions and sometimes there not really serious about it. you people get what i am saying. even though there has been some relationships that have worked in this type of a lifestyle. the key word is "some." that is why i have come to the conclusion that this type of a lifestyle is bullshit. know i don't mean to offend anybody but this is what i have come to think lately. but i am still in this type of a lifestyle my self and i haven't changed about it. i'm just starting to think that these type of relationships won't seirously work is all i am trying to get across.
thank you for not hating me silverflame.

shy, it doesn't have anything to do with the "lifestyle" as you call it. people are born gay/lesbian. it has nothing to do with the relationships that you have. it means that you are attracted to people of the same sex and not of the opposite. how can you call it bullshit when you've only dated one girl, and one that you never met at that? how can you possibly know if you are or aren't gay if you haven't gotten out and dated around a bit? try dating guys, if that doesn't work for you, try girls. that's what i did even though i always knew that i was a lesbian in the back of my mind. i was too frightened to admit it because of my family background and how my father's family reacts to that kind of thing it made it increasingly difficult to come out. shy shy, don't be so quick to judge. i am no longer going to come back to this site. thank for to those i care about for having me here To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. ok well i won't be to quick to judge. but i seriously do not want to date a guy though and i do feel uncomfortable around them. because the only thing that they tend to think about is gettting in a girls pant or wanting to fuck them 10 minuets and i seriously do not like that. but i don't want to go for a guy though. yeah i can understand how that was frightening for you to come out and admit to your family that you were a lesbian. that is totally understandable. but you seem ok know.
