What do you guys do these nights? Are there many goth events in your area? There are a few clubs in my area, The Venue, Intermission, Distortion Project, The Church and a couple more goth themed nights. It can be really boring going to the same places after a while. As for events, the only conventions that there would be are Buffy the vampire slayer ones. Ugh....

There aren't many clubs in my area, apart from esoteric ones...

The closest "events" I can find would mean going to Atlanta. At least you have some clubs remotely in your area, some are not as privileged. My few friends and I just sit at the Huddle House, talk, drink coffee and smoke.

Here there is only one club that has a goth themed night every tuesday.. its called Zaphod Beeblebrox (Zaphods), but it still sucks, i guess not enough ppl know about it. They certainly dont advertised it. The odd time other clubs will have similar themed nights, but only once in a while....so basially there is no Gothic nightlife here aside from private parties.

yeah..... apparently most of them party at this one house almost every weekend, but i have never been ............ i did go to one of them "goth theme night" thingys last night though, and i have to admit, it was one of the most packed times i have ever seen that club ...... if only it could be like that all the time.....

Hey cool thread ! Calgary is doing awesome now we have just had a new club called Machine open here and it is great it was started by people in the scene for people in the scene. Wednesday nights are Goth?Industrial and very well attended, Im gonna be working the door there this summer. and Calgary will be even cooler in 2005 when I open my club!!!!

How come?

its a bad business to run here...nightclubs, they never last...there are a few that have lasted like 20 years, but they are big, and serve food, and play shitty music ......... there are one or 2 small ones that have also been here forever, but they are owned by the same ppl that run the big ones...... a "goth" style club here has never seen more then 6 months, because there is not enough ppl to attend
