Being diagnosed with a long-term, degenerative illness does wonders to fix the mind on the notion that health = good. My medication is only optimal if I stay on a strict diet of 1200 calories or less. Plus, I've taken up yoga. I always thought it was a bunch of hippie meditation shit. But holy crap, it's difficult. And painful.

I walk alot... I eat healthy, for the most part....im a little on the heavy side, but im in decent shape.

Degenerative as in fatal? If I could only eat 1200 calories per day, I'd consider letting the disease take its course sooner rather than later.

Dogwalks 4 times a day, including one sprint which the doggy always wins (greyhound)
Chasing cats at the animalshelter during work ;-)
I exercise on music at home at lack of balletclasses (used to take classes but quit long time ago)
And by lack of horseriding (my passion but it got too expensive for the time being) I signed up with a gym to do general fitness and I will start in an oriental dance class soon.
I wanted to take up Krav Maga, but there were too little people interested :-(

I should state that after I get my ass back into shape witht he navy seal workout I am going to look at doing Bruce Lee's workout, or well as much of it as I can and possibly start training in martial arts again.

I just started as the Dairy Manager at my store. So I am assured a hell of a workout. I expect to gain some muscle mass over the next few months as I will be power lifting 4 gallons of milk at a time. that is only 32 pounds or so but I will lift that probably over 100 times in a day

I do a mix of things. It depends on my schedule and the time of year.
Yoga, Pilates, balance ball, walk, run, weights, hike, tai chi (slow form), bike ride, hula hoop.
I would like to possibly get into some form of dance or or qi gong when school is done.
I eat healthy enough, so my big battle is with exercising consistently.

I'm trying to reconcile your photograph in the shooting thread with the image of a dairy farmer.

Crypt, you've got to be in pretty good shape already if you're the NS workout.

Lately I've been turning on the MTV video website and using hand weights, doing floor exercises and dancing around like an idiot for about an hour and a half every night. Dance Dance Revolution burns some calories too, especially if you do it holding light weights.

Not really in that great a shape yet, though I am working on it. I am mostly out of cardio shape

Just yesterday I went on a hike for 9 hours while carrying about 25 to 30 pounds of gear. In addition to that, I do squats, sit-ups and a little martial arts training.

It's all about enjoying the physical activities that I do and trying to maintain good health for me. Plus, I practice photography when I'm out on a hike so that's an artistic incentive.

I definitely need something extra to keep me working out too: choreography in aerobics, achievieng an acrobatic trick, music. Otherwise, it's just becoming sweaty, sore & tired.
