I don't know why more people don't think to do this.
Maybe because people have school in fall, or because you can't rely on going outside for it all the time.

My fiance and I are going for it though. I mean, let's look at the positive sides.
You're not sweating during the ceremony. Small kids aren't so energetic. Fall's a lot nicer looking outside with all the gold and crap.
I have a cousin that did likewise, it was pants.

I agree, my sister is getting married NEXT fall. I think she made the right choice. I despise summer weddings.

Being the cynic of women that I am, I wouldn't so much as give a drama queen the time of day anyway. Actually, she's probably more down to earth about things than I am, which is really good. And I've known her for five years now, so there's no mistaking it.

I wasn't present for any of my mom's marriages. But I'm pretty sure they all took place in either summer or winter. And considering the amount of times she's been married, that seems to be a good sign for surreal and his honey bunny.

As for the fall thing. That is a great time for it ( depending on where you are ). Leaves changing colors, and rustling in the breeze.. Yes, very nice choice..

Second for me would be a spring wedding.. If it's a little bit too cold outside, people don't stay long.. Less to feed And the connection with the growth of new things, rebirth of the plants and all...

Late September and early October are the best times to wed. The air is nice and cool and you can watch the leaves change color as the ceremony commences. My exwife and I did the same thing years ago. By far one of the best decisions I had ever made.
