Disagreeing with just one optional belief doesn't discredit the whole thing for me. Plus, you know, I'd rather save my immortal soul than "get some".

I never thought you that hard core of a christian. I think it's widly accepted nowadays that hell doesn't really exsist, but rather that it exsist if you want it to. Or some such like that.
Either way, let me enlighten you a bit:
In every religion, there's some sort of sin for a male/female. We are even born with "Original Sin" in the christian beleif I believe. Jesus died for our sins, blah blah. It doesn't matter to me anymore. I don't believe in hell.
In the bible, there's something among the lines of:
- If a woman hasn't/didn't bear a son for her husband, then she is to become pregnant from her husbands brother. If not available, she has super sinned or some such.-
That is messed up there. How many women nowadays still practice this? I doubt any of substantial numbers.
There's lots of screwy things in the bible. Forget about saving your soul for a moment and consider the fallowing:
Are you living happily?
Are you living in such a way that God would be proud of you for spending your life to its fullest, even if you've sinned nowing?
If you live a life of unhappiness, have you sinned? Well you must have, since God put you here to enjoy life, and obviouly you didn't.
What is sin? Why does it exsist?
Why are we given a choice? It certainly isn't there to screw us over.
If we are given a choice, do we have to pick the right one?
I'm no satanist, but I've wondered all of these questions and then some to the point of regret. I take comfort knowing that God loves me enough to forgive me my foolishness. In fact, he's already forgiven me for anything bad I might have done.
God has taken every percaution to keep us out of his hell. He only makes it available to us to scare our minds. Kinda like the boogy man.
Really think about this.

Consider this:
If you dissagree with anything godly, aren't you sinning? Aren't you supposed to agree with god and not question him for he has divine wisdom beyond our comprehension?
If I fallowed bible code as close as this, I'd be regretful all the time for not accepting one of gods "rules".
Yeah, I've probably gone overboard here, but I hate to see someone is distress.
