where, oh god where can i find some decent gothic clothing for men? all I've been able to find so far (on the net) are shops that are either:
a) in another country (no i will NOT pay postage and handling for something that I'm not even sure will fit me)
b) are aimed at women (as open as the gothic subculture/scene may be, I don't think I'd look all that good in a corset, pixi boots and black lacing fishtail skirt combianation)
c) both of the above
so does anyone know of any decent goth chlothing stores that have a variety of styles for men that are in New South Wales (Australia) preferably in the blue mountains or sydney. i don't feel like a 5 hour drive to Armidale
"what is goth?" get a life, goth isn't something, somthing is goth, its an adjective.
in philadelphia there was a place called zipperheads that i used to shop at theye were really more of a fedish place but they carried good stuff for good prices.
i think they have more places then that but im not sure.

Here in VA, we have a store called night shade! When I'm 18 (a few weeks), that will be my clothes shopping central. Gotta love them little fetish shops. Plus, they have some good gift ideas! You know that susan is gonna LOVE that whip you got her.
i cant find any decent clothing either, so i just go to the hot topic
Sibilant and macabre
Walpurgis sauntered in
Skies litten with five-pointed stars
The work of crafts surpassing sin
As She graced Her window ledge
- An orphaned gypsy nymph
This issue of the forest's bed
Skin flushed with sipped absinthe -
Her eyes revealed, as Brocken's peak
Tried once concealing Hell
A snow white line of divine freaks
In riot, where they fell...

well this may or may not be an option but learn to sew, at some point you will get good enough where you will no longer need to shop for new things, well besides underwear that is if you wear underwear.

i have to add that the salvation army, goodwill stores and thrift stores local to you should NOT be ruled out! I recently began visiting the salvation army store nearest me (itas across the street from my bank, so on payday i give myself time to get my check, go to the bank, and sneak into the slavation army for a few minutes) i nearly always find something i want : i now have four faboo catholic school girl skirts, two lovely wool pleated skirts in grey and in black, several great basic black tops that seem s to have become irreplacable in my wardrobe, and this great shirtdress that i use as a duster. ooh, and a fantastic cordurouy black miniskirt with pockets and belt loops that rides perfectly on my hips, and a great silver knit tank top that rawks.
i suggest to anyone, guy or gal: get thee to thine thrift stores, post haste!
