Mistaken for asleep
Murdered emotion
Unfeeling lips take hopeless hearts
To join the stars, we bind as one
Smothered roses long since black
They pierce our skin
Poisoned with the taint of death
But for forgiveness, a sweet sadness
A sickly taste upon my tongue
