An Unbearable Pain

My decayed wings are falling
Back into the dirty earth
My decietful tears are calling
For a way to end this birth.

Discovering true beauty
I reach toward the sun
Standing towards it's power
The burning has now begun.

The sensation soon dissapears
Beneath the freezing clouds
Revealing icy spears
Screams are heard aloud.

Peircing through soft flesh
Blood has staind the snow
These icy spears are blessed
With a gentle, powerful glow.

I run towards the dying fire
For a way to end this dream
I long to feel it's hot desire
The strength of it's dangerous gleam.

But my decayed wings are falling
As I hold onto the shivering earth
My crying tears are calling
For a way to end this birth.

I pass dead souls
Of people who I have known
Nothing can mend my sadened holes
For now my pain has grown.

And so my wings keep falling
As I lie upon the dirty earth
And my desperate tears keep calling
For an eternal sleep to end this birth.

[color=crimson] The rhyming scheme was professional,yet creative..but at times, it felt as if the rhyming was forced...all in all it was beautiful! Nice start to a brand new thread
