Thanks Fandango!
Here are the lyrics to my latest single-getting some airplay in my hometown-Shitlanta, GA.
Circles
She woke up just after midnight-just like so many times before.
Never bothered turnin on a light, and slowly wandered out the door.
(Her) clouded visions cold and dark as night (when) she saw the old man by the store
Look up and flash his evil, haunting grin-just like so many times before.
Now she wonders what she's doing here. She wants nothing more than to stop falling down.
But the people's faces never change. She tries to scream, but can't make a sound.
And she asks herself again, "Will I wake up before I hit the ground?"
Every clock was stopped at midnight-just like so many times before.
She hid in shadows of the city lights that forever stood ignored.
Every stranger that she knew so well passed as if she wasn't there.
While she faced her neverending Hell in the absence of their stares.
Now she wonders what she's doing here. She wants nothing more than to stop falling down.
But the people's faces never change. She tries to scream, but can't make a sound.
And she asks herself again, "Will I wake up before I hit the ground?"
She woke up just after midnight-just like so many times before.
Never bothered turnin on a light, and slowly wandered out the door. |
