A blue-black canopy of bottomless, witchcraft black
Welcomes a detonation of stars as I lie on my back

Watching a school of silver clouds like migrating whales
wind chimes suspended, they send waves through the leaves
and submerge in the darkness, seeking the moon's dark canyons.

Impaled on the cross of primary colours, my companion beside me adrift in a sea of hours
I watch her black dress surrender to the ocean bed flowers, unveil an ivory tarot with unquestionable powers, all carnival of red and warm pulse of colours, and we bleed into one in the warm ocean of lovers.
