Read my poems ;) - 09-04-02

Go to www.poetry.com and search for "Not Goodpoet" (that's first name, then last name). I'm trying to find out if my hypothesis is correct; that any submission to poetry.com will get semi-finalist status in their "competition." .

Bismarck once said "Fools say they like to learn from their experiences, but I prefer to learn from the experience of others."

You are Don Juan From "Don Juan De Marco."

Woobaby! You are Don Juan - dark and handsome, and the world's greatest lover. Some people find you to be a bit insane (or is that insanely sexy?). While you may not be playing with all 52 cards, don't let that get you down - you're a true romantic at heart.

Go, it's cooler with the "formal" page they are on; they are jokes, they are NOT good. I repeat NOT good. Here, I'll post them.

Not a good poem - 09-05-02

This poetry site sux
and I will be a
semi-finalist for my bizarre and
outlandish abilities to tweak and destroy the conventions
of poetry for many centuries upon centuries that have given
literature worth reading
written in less than sixty seconds

All dead within mere seconds of trickling
time, the living, dying Styx.
Poetry is dead, so sayeth the kings of yore. Poetry is newly born, so
sayeth the ring-wraiths of the present.
Yet, all is fine as long as I am a semi-
finalist, no?
This poetry site sux.

These were especially written as bad poetry. Not bathos, because bathos hopes to be good.

Those were hilarious, absolutely classic.
You got heaps of respect from me for submitting them to those assholes.
