With each tear that has fallen, an inspiration has been born in its place. For the tears that will fall, my pen and paper await.

The raindrops are my tears
My tears are for sorrow
So this collection is entitled
The Rains of Sorrow

Crimson in the garden
it glows bright
Velvety petals around
a heart of gold
Softly unfurled it creates
perfection adorned
in robes of crisp crimson
and emerald

Day and night can come and
go at will
As gardeners walk on by
Selecting --
Picking the single bloom
to call their own
Until all that is left
a single rose

Unnoticed and ignored,
morning mists
that clung to the petals
slide and fall,
making small, unnoticed,
crystalline pools
The sunlight of the day
then dries them gone

Yet the darkness of night
fills them again

Gardeners don't notice
But others see
the rose bloom of crimson
and emerald
glowing bright day and night
sepaled jacket
hiding ruby petals
that spiral in

They seek, they find. they touch
they invade
as the bloom closes more
to protect
and hide from intruders
But no use
Sepals are grabbed and yanked
and petals are lost

In time, the damage done
surely will heal
But the heart will remain
scarred and torn
as it lives intrusions
with the dew
clinging on the petals
and falling

In the garden of life,
it endures.

Eternal flame that burns inside
Burns where the heart and soul hide
Did you know that it's time to die
It's time to go and say goodbye

The fire that fueled you is no more
What is now is not what it was before
Instead of red you now bleed blue
As you learn what is really true

The heart is broken and so is soul
How to mend them, I do not know
All there is now is hurt and pain
Yet there was something, something to gain

A lesson learned, a lesson taught
Regrets are somethings I have naught
Thank you to whoever you are
For teachings of the near and far

Yet the pain inside grows too much
Consumes all who are within its touch
And the pain has finally shattered my heart
So from this world I must depart

No more tears, no more cries
No more deep, heartfelt sighs
No more truths, no more lies
So this is what I've come to realize

It's time to say goodbye...

As I look in the mirror I see my bare soul
And see that it’s not like it was before
My soul is not whole; it’s all in shreds
The pieces embrace me these tattered threads

Eyes that reflect a millennia of age
A spirit, shattered, chained in a cage
A heart, broken, yet whole as well
How much longer only time will tell

How it came to such I can only guess
That I got tangled into this world’s mess
Dropped from heaven, kicked out of hell
Into this desolate chaotic world I fell

I am not perfect, this much I know
Imperfection casts me out from above and below
I have made my mistakes, and truly I atone
Solitary, confused, broken, and alone

Trial by fire of the heart and soul
Is the only way to make me whole
The trials I endure, they scorch and burn
As lesson by painful lesson, I am forced to learn

These trials, these lessons, are taking a toll
This relentless pursuit to make me whole
The hourglass of time fills with the sands
As I cradle a dying soul with my bare hands

This dying soul I took to the heavens above
But heaven spurned me with a gentle shove
“The time for you has not come today.”
And so back to earth they sent me away

In tears I begged my soul they would take
To grant me the one wish I would ever make
That never again would they send me away
For in the arms of Death I wished to stay

But to the earthian soils I got sent back again
Never to return, until it’s my time, and only then
And until it’s time for my last goodbye
I will continue to live this so-called life

So from the earth I gather my scattered pieces
And swallow the cry that never ceases
In my arms, I will cradle this tattered soul forever
As I seek to make whole a soul as broken as ever

I like the last one best myself; the other two were ones I had written quite awhile back, but hold a special significance to me... ^^;;

And I would continue writing even without such words, but now I shall continue writing because I have even more reason to do so now... hehe

Hehehe... no worries... still very beautiful pictures...

I do web graphics for my websites (I'm in the middle of updating and revamping, so everything is offline at the moment) and I draw. I love drawing the human form and I particularly love working with manga/anime-ish style art. But I love drawing people -- real or imaginary. ^^

I also play the violin (not as well as I used to, because I stopped for awhile) and write stories in my spare time. And when I have the money, I sometimes like to do photography too. Also, I've been taking an interest in fashion design, so I've been hunting around in thrift stores and buying interesting pieces to mix and match and alter etc... Thrift stores are about the only place I know that sells plain long sleeve shirts (like a long sleeve T-shirt)... ^^;;

But yeah. I like art. A LOT. ^^

Speaking of art...

Oh burning spirit that burns so bright
Why do I burn those who touch my light?

They seek the light and the shining glow
But then they run to the darkness below
And I just don't understand why
Why they run from this light of mine

Oh light within hear my cry
You burn those who touch you, why?

Those who touched you have been burned
And away from me they were spurned
To seek the soothing comfort of night
Far far away from me and my light

Oh burning spirit, don't you know
That you burn people with your glow?

Before now, I never realized it as such
That you scorch others with your touch
Too intense, is the fire that burns inside
So no wonder, from it, people hide

Oh dear fire within, I see your tears

I know that within that fire, you weep inside
Away from prying eyes you silently hide
The tears you weep is for that deep desire
The torment of not feeling another one's fire
