When thee thinks about what a poem is, thine thought drifts toward that of lines stacked atop each other, wherein a story is crafted.

Poetry, however, doth not exist, but rather poetry is non-existant. When a poem is crafted, a story is written, and so a poem is nothing more than a short story. By calling it a poem, thou art betraying the truth.

Much of the poetry we write has a story behind it, though...not every poem is a story. In fact, some poetry has no story behind it and isn't a story at all...

Hell, my one "poem" couldn't constitute as a poem.. although some dimwits on here thought it was the greatest thing ever.
