and they have every right when they ask

thanks for the kind words. here's another poem, because I write these things like it's nobody's business. And then I shove them in everyone's face like somehow, the dream will come true and they'll see it. For sure. A note to the reader--I have the worst handwriting you haven't seen.

A Psalm.

the loneliest place
is surrounded by laughter
but can not touch it,
and what if you are 35 and plain
and never anything else?
then things are not so easy.
my pen to the paper
produces no visual beauty
but in the image of a perfect sun
viewed without your corneas
that's art.
