Who am I
I don't know
I lost my sprit
Or misplaced my soul
Living in a world where people don't care
I look in the mirror
And theres a stranger standing there
Who is he
And what dose he want
He can't be me
I don't look that lost
Who are we really
Will we ever know
Maybe we should quit trying to control everything
And just let go
What ever happens
Just let it be
It will never change
Not for a person like me
this is an old one, but i like it.

Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
You fell out of love,
And I never knew.
We can't talk anymore.
Because they end in a fight.
What happened to us?
Why cant we see the light.
We were so good,
Like we were meant to be.
But when you say "I love you"
Does it mean anything?
I can see the pain in your eyes.
And I know you see the same in mine.
Babe with out you,
I think im loosing my mind.
You don't have to leave.
We can work this out.
I'll change what I have to.
It's you,
I can't live without.
We don't have to do this.
We can't leave it this way.
I've said all I can
How can I make you stay.
Im lost without you.
What more can I say.
We can try a little harder.
WE can give it another day.

I watch the world through my window
Because there's nothing out there for me
All my hope is lost
And at peace I can never be
I watch the world through my window
And darkness is all I see
My home is like a cell
And happiness is the only key
I watch the world through my window
Because im ashamed of being me
I hide myself from the world
And cry as my demons brake free
I watch the world through my window
Because there is nope hope for me
Im dying inside
I guess this is the way it has to be
I wrote this poem thinking of how I use to be. People always made me feel ashamed to be different. | |

The three little words
She spoke so soft and sweet
Change my life forever
As I stood there alone on love street
It was the day
That time stood still
I remember the feeling
And true loves not real
Her three little words
Swim through my mind
Eating away at my sanity
And my hatred making me blind
The three little words
Are what you think
She said "Im leaving you"
And I could feel my heart turn black and sink
Buried in my misery
And cut to the bone
She had the face of a angel
And a heart made from stone
How could an angel
Do this to me
She was my world
But to blind to see
Now im all alone
Dying in my shell
My angel has left me
So I bid this world farewell

Well i would have to say you have my attention, especially with the last peice...very touching for it has me. I can relate, and for some reason when you spoke of those three words i did not think of "i love you" but something along the lines of what it really was. I do not believe true love is real either anymore....but i do enjoy your poems so take care....and keep writing..very beautiful....

The morning sun casts it's gentle light down upon me
The soft songs of my mother chimes
The wind blowing through the trees
And just for a second I feel like im really alive
But i slipped back into reality
And into my life that I despise

It's a new day
But it's just like the last
My future is nothing
But a reflection of my past
Lost in this world
I don't know what to do
Can I ever start again
Or make up something new
I live with this pain
And every tear is shed in fear
Why can't I be happy
The voice of suicide is all I hear
The voice is taunting, haunting
Beating its way into my brain
Tearing up my insides
Making me all but normal and completely insane
I don't know how long I can do it
And all these feelings are getting harder to contain
I feel like im losing myself
And struggling to maintain
Is there anyone out there
Anyone to show me that they care
Or am I to walk this world alone
Why is life so unfair

I walk to the well
I know my wish
But I can't tell
I rub it in my hand
And kiss it for luck
I think about the man at the bottom
Does he really give a fuck
I let the coin roll off my hand
And off the tips of my fingers
Thinking of my wish
And the smell of my defeat always lingers
Another unanswered wish
A dream dead and gone
Why can't I have the only thing I truly want
