(tramps)
Stampeding through the shining streets
(Oh what a model walk)
High Heals and Prada Bags
(without such things they are but hags)
Superficial Glass Kisses
(only to bring you to your knees)
Boys Beware these Beauties
(they will consume you)

Empty rooms line the cells of your heart
for fear of letting them in
and having them tear it apart
Capture that alluring gaze
yet fear that hunger
it will consume you whole
Then you'll be emptier than your heart
a shell waiting in line for its perfect demise
oh... those poisonous stares.

I hope this is as good as what I first posted. These short poems, were written quite fast. So I don't expect them to match.
Nonetheless, I hope for you to enjoy.

Again, I am compelled to read these pieces with wonder (particularly "Empty rooms line the cells of your heart ...") ... I call myself a poet (maybe others do not), but from one poet to another, protect your pieces as children not ready to take first steps ... Nurture them by researching then composing and researching again to determine if what you are saying has been said before and how ... Find your own voice, and find your place among a select group who've achieved the same ... It's extremely rare.
