The world is a blackened oyster
Something with a shattered pearl
The feelings of twisted suffering
Writhing like a snake uncurled
Sadness is a frame of mind
Cracked and fallen off my wall
No happiness or good virtue
Sick like a rabid dog
Empty of true emotion
Synthetic martyr to behold

"Tragedy"

Tragedy breeds the mind
in complete sorrow
And finishes off the child inside
Making us cold and dark forever.

We grew up cold, unemotional
Lifeless carcasses awaiting the end.
We no longer have the strength to
Hope for a miracle
Sothere is no use in believing

We failed as angels and so we fell
Lost our wings and remained here
Misery clouds our very being
and so our souls weigh heavy

Finally in our sickened state
We can no longer bear the burden
and we are crushed underneath
The anguish that became our lives.

Shatters across this globe of snow
Tormented by this piercing gaze
That only crystal balls can show

I walked through this opaque room
All I've seen has Blinded me
A sea of glass I've waded in
And now I'm dancing in its undertoe.

Painted pictures with my feet
A crimson tide that's taken me
See my little figurines warp and change
How very strange!

Chagrin minds and so sublime
This music box of souls divine
Reminisce of the deadly kiss
Like rotten apples and arsenic

Billowing shadows at my windows
Beckoning me to take a spin
Twisted turning all about
Drowning like my waterspout

Across the hearth
The embers still glow
Like a dying heart
That refused to slow

My eyes still look round about
But my recollections
I seem to doubt

Anesthesia for the soul
Ripped and torn and devoured whole

This little piece of cloth I held
For so long it was my only companion
it never complained much
I gave it my hopes, my dreams, my desires
It soaked it all up like sponge and it was always wanting more.

The moon was black as death
hiding amongst the billowing shadows
I clung to my cloth and i felt it was squeezing back,
it was no longer a cloth
It was my Beloved

Neither of us spoke that night
It was the faeries granting my one true wish
We melted in ecstasy
our longing was satiated
The Rag doll was reality
Reality was love

The next morn I awakened from my sleep
I was no longer in love
I was no longer in reality
I no longer had a Rag doll
I was alone all this time

I no longer dreamed my dreams
I no longer wished my wishes
The soul unmade itself
And all that was left
was a rotting corpse
clutching in its rigor mortised hand
A piece of eternity

What Could I have been if the world would decay,
The feelings of Hate for the wicked today,
The harshness of Life cuts me too much,
The world is too balck for the throats I clutch,
Caught in the back with a butterfly bullet

On a side of good we're born
a light as brilliant as day
A world as early as time forgot
Our first envisioned play
They wind us up and let us go
and watch us start to verse
The world is just our stage
and our lives we just rehearse.

On a neutral side we live
As gray as a cloud
The world's a mid-life-crisis now
An Intermission for the crowd
They sit and wind us up again
To please us one and all
A standing ovation is their goal
The world's a great curtain call.

On a side of evil we die
As dark as the night
The world is cold and dead to us
And our lines are no longer right
They try to fix our gears up
As best as they can
But we no longer work for them
And our play has just been banned.

Living puppets is what we are
and they just pull our strings
Make us do what they want
and they say Freedom rings.
We cut our bonds away
and then we're truly free
but toy soldiers stomp our faces in
GI Joe's on a killing spree.

We flee and run away from them
and try to put up a fight
We have nothing but our plastic hands
and they have bombs in our tights
We painfully surrender
and they chain us to the wall
We don't care what they do to us
For we will never fall.

One by one they hang us
From a cruel and wicked tree
Fitting for the living puppets
dead to be free.

"The Wedding Vow"

Like lightning was to thunder
And even though it makes no sound it tears the world asunder

A promise by two turtle doves that i will love no other
